A long ago i bought a sheet which was of mediocre price and a vibrant color. With time i realise that it did not fade, was always soft, i used it for a long time. My dog bumped on it. Slept on it. His nails though a little big but i realised my sheet was never torn. Even after my tommy (dog) was ferocious on it. After years it was the almost same like i bought. Now i have grown up and i realised a need to buy another. i see that price is a matter to take care. I wanted to buy it for my own new house and i was pretty excited but was wondering if i would even get anything close in the feel and but of course money!!! Here i am with the soft sheets at a meagre size. For me the soft sateen finish and the thickness of the sheets mattered alot. I found it here. I thought why dont i check by washing it twice to see. I washed it on a long cycle. Thank God! It came up nicely. The last sheet i had was 400 thread count from bed bath and beyond and it is indeed 500 thread count. It is too thick and heavy on touch and feel. My mattress has 14 inches depth, fitted sheet went smoothly inside the mattress without having to come out in the night. Although a word of caution: i am again going to update my review if i come across any issue! However till now i am a happy go lucky customer. Thanks ... show more

Purchased these sheets in Full XL to take with me back to campus (needed sheets for night of flight before my belongings arrived). I wish I'd just skipped the sheets for a night. These sheets are made of poor quality fabric, have shallow corners, and are already starting to have little balls on the fabric after the first wash. I really should return them, but I've already washed and used them a couple nights. Save your time and money - find a different set. ... show more

Use this in a guest bedroom. XL Full was perfect. Ordered the light blue which is not the color I expected it to be--much brighter than I was expecting and a different shade of blue but it's okay. Only negative comment is I have to iron the pillowcases every time I launder them.
