I stupidly got a navel hernia 20 years ago carrying my own heavy luggage. I thought that wheeled luggage was a sign that you should probably just stay home. What a dunce! So after a winter of 4 weeks of immobility for an unrelated health problem, followed by over 2 months of stay-at-home Covid19 inactivity, I realized that I should buy some "insurance" for my very minor hernia. my muscle tone was not optimum. It was time to move my very heavy large plants out of the basement and outdoors. This belt is comfortable and very effective, I actually have seen a reduction to the hernia after wearing it. I have found it stays in place better if I wear it over my t-shirt in use. I highly recommend it for those of us with relatively minor but annoying navel hernias.

The hernia pad that comes with the belt is great and comfortable, but the belt itself is horrible. all around the upper and lower edge of belt there it stiff nylon threads that stick out and poke the skin to the point of irritating and scratching the skin.

This hernia belt is strong, well made, and probably as comfortable as it can be. It is flexible enough so I can breath comfortably, and the weave lets air in so I can wear it on very hot days. It works. My hernia stays where it belongs. I move the pad to different locations on the belt from time to time, to prevent one area of the belt from eventually getting crimps in it from body contours. I usually take it off at night. I bought this hernia belt twice. I wore the first one for months, then decided I should have two, so I would have one to wear when the other is being washed. Both times the order arrived on time with no problems.
