This has been a nice coat for my French bulldog. It's pretty easy to get on her, snapping along the belly. The back slit works well for attaching the leash to her harness. We have a no-pull harness but cannot use the front leash hook with this coat or the front snaps come undone. We've used the coat for two full winters before on of the snaps came off. It washed up well in the washing machine and dries fairly quickly, too. It's got a nice fleece lining and keeps the dog mostly dry unless she's out in a pouring rain. The bottom does get pretty wet and muddy when she tromps through rain puddles or snow, but as I mentioned, it cleans up easily.
