It's sturdy, it looks nice, it's easy to assemble. It adds another bed to a small room. The only downside is that it is slightly narrow and a normal size memory foam twin mattress sits up on the sides that stick up slightly, so it slides right off when I go to push the bed back under, or pull it out. My son is about 270lbs. So far he seems pleased with it. 8 main parts, slats (only 3 need to be screwed) and 4 knobs/caps. Very simple instructions. I had a bum knee so my son (34yo) was able to put most of it together with minimal assistance from me. Use the cardboard inside box to use under the mattress (mattresses and under the bed roll rack not included). Will work good for kitty bed and TV lounge when son moves out.     • Decent bed, but could be better
I bought the black twin size frame to fit my 12 inch twin size memory foam mattress. My mattress covers the entire back panel except the one horizontal bar at the top. Because of this, it’s a bit awkward having a large gap where I can feel the wall and then a random bar. Plus, the bar is flimsy and bends if you put weight on it. I wish I would have purchased a daybed with a solid back panel. The four round posts are cheap plastic and screw into the four predrilled holes. Because you screw them in, they are warped and don’t sit perfectly straight. Whenever I make the slightest movement on my bed, the bed makes a “clink clink” sound and it gets annoying real fast. Overall, I wish I would’ve purchased a different daybed. Still rated four stars because it works for the price. ... show more
