Perfect, pretty easy to assemble and I did alone, though it might've been easier with 2 people. Not squeaky or creaky anywhere and feels very sturdy. Fits queen platform mattress exactly Edited: okay, after sleeping on it for about 2 months the middle support bar has bent sideways so its just the 6 legs around the edge that holds it up and it is extremely squeaky. I guess you get what you pay for. In hindsight I probably would've gone for a different option. ... show more

Easy to put together, sturdy, and looks fantastic. All parts were included and labeled correctly and no scuffs, breaks, or bends in any of the materials provided. Doesn't make noise even with sleepers than constantly move around throughout the night, not throughout intimate moments. I am only subtracting a star because the mattress does tend to slide around a little bit and had to be reset into correct position daily. Bought this as a favor for a friend when she moved into her first apartment. She paid me back, don't worry. I personally wouldn't buy this. I think it's ugly. Came delivered properly and every piece was there and accounted for. I helped her boyfriend with assembling the frame. Didn't take long, but it definitely helps if someone helps you assemble it. I put this together myself. Easy for one person to assemble. Looks good and seems sturdy, and the price was reasonable. I will have to get brackets or a rug gripper to secure the mattress and keep it from slipping.

Very unstable from the beginning. The middle side legs never touched the ground unless we were actively laying on the bed, and within a week the middle support bar was falling and causing the bed to collapse and slide daily. the littlest weight on the bed would cause the middle bar to slip and bend to the side (my cats whole 7lbs) There are no screws or anything to hold this bar in place, so it being unstable makes sense. the design is simply flawed. Great bed frame for the price. Pretty sturdy and easy to assemble . I did it by myself and it took me about an hour. Definitely recommend for a guest bed. Also, I love the storage underneath it. It’s tall enough to fit file boxes and other things under the bed!

Assembly was kind of an ordeal. There were a lot of hex screws and on at least one occasion during the assembly, I needed basically three hands. The other issue is that several of the tolerances on the 'metal' (because I'm pretty sure it's not steel, as quoted in the product details) pieces weren't quite where they needed to be. They fit, but it took some force. Biggest downside for me is the weight of the bed. It's very light; I'm actually pretty sure my memory foam mattress is heavier than it. It has a tendency to move around on my laminate floors. Probably not an issue on deeper carpet, but it's something to think about. There's also no way to stop the mattress moving side-to-side. The headboard and footer do a decent job of keeping vertical movement minimal, but the support bars lay flush with the frame, so your mattress will slide a little. As far as durability goes... that's a long-term question, but I don't hold out much hope. The metal in the frame is pretty cheap, thin gauge stuff, and it's all just held together with hex bolts screwed into plastic anchors. The long sides of the frame are hinged, too, to make shipping easier, so there is a natural point of failure in the middle of the frame. I suspect I'll be buying another bed before long. In short, probably fine for a guest house/room, or for for a lighter person; I don't foresee this going over well with larger folks like me, or with two adults on the same bed. ... show more
