I purchased 2 of these. Not sure I'd throw a 160lbs adult on them day in and out, but my teenage boys love 'em. They look nice, were affordable, and fairly easy to assemble....lots of screws. They came in a box that I first assumed was a twin bed when I had ordered a full. I was wrong, they were the full beds, just lots of smaller parts to assemble. Perfect, pretty easy to assemble and I did alone, though it might've been easier with 2 people. Not squeaky or creaky anywhere and feels very sturdy. Fits queen platform mattress exactly Edited: okay, after sleeping on it for about 2 months the middle support bar has bent sideways so its just the 6 legs around the edge that holds it up and it is extremely squeaky. I guess you get what you pay for. In hindsight I probably would've gone for a different option. ... show more

I had been wanting to get rid of the old bed rails and box springs. I also wanted a simple, but attractive headboard. All of these wants came in a box that I, as an 80 year old woman, unpacked, and put together. It's sturdier than I expected, so that's a plus. I did get six furniture pads for the feet on the carpet. That allows me to move the bed about for cleaning underneath, or rearranging my bedroom. This is high value product and met all of my needs and wants to improve my sleep. ... show more

I do want to first point out the good in this headboard/frame. It was very easy to assemble and I’m a woman with long nails! Package came heavy. The material is durable. I should have used a ruler because the height was not what I expected but that was my fault for going by the photo in the pics makes it look taller. I ordered the queen size and my mattress height is 12 invhes so it pretty much covers the headboard once I put my pillows on making my headboard non existent, lol again my fault for not measuring what height I would need for my headboard as you can see it doesn’t pass the paint and wallpaper transition on my wall which looks tacky. Anyway. That’s the only pro in regards to this mattress. And the price!! For the price this is a GREAT BUY. You do get what you pay for given the cons! Cons: if you are a couple looking for a sturdy bed for intimacy and quietness during sex this bed is NOT FOR YOU!!! I applied the friction tape to my bed and after only one session with my husband this bed was halfway off the frame. The whole frame itself slides all over the place. And we aren’t animalistic lovers!! Even just setting up the mattress on top of the frame it slides so easily and it’s a huge inconvenience to constantly have to center the bed where it goes. I have minor OCD so this irks me to my core. Even just getting into the bed it’s always hitting the wall and moves very easily!! Until I am able to afford a more durable headboard/frame I found some rubber nonslip furniture grips for 11$ on Amazon that I’m going to see if it helps. And I’m going to see if I find some sort of non slip mattress pad I can put between the mattress and the frame and pumpers for the wall. I think if I can make those accommodations it should be fine. I hate HATE writing terrible reviews. But I think for a kids room or even someone who isn’t heavy would make great use of this bed and have less problems, but it’s a NO for me. The money I’ll be spending to make adjustments to the sturdiness of this bed will probably equal to the amount of a good quality headboard. UPDATE: if you are sharing this bed with a sibling or spouse please make sure you both are light weight. My husband and I are about 200 pounds each and the entire frame broke about a week after writing this review. Only had it for about a week. This would be great for a kid.
