This is a nice and sturdy bedframe perfect for a mattress in a box (gel/foam mattress) Bought it because of the reviews and price. My husband had it up within an hour. All parts were included and I believe even had a few extra screws left. My husband did have to use a tap for one of the holes, which wasn't a big deal for him, but might be for others. That is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I would still recommend this bedframe. ... show more

    • Pretty frame , but lasted less than a year

Somewhat easy to assemble , I was able to do it myself , and wasn’t overly challenging . Beautiful once finished and was sturdy the first few weeks . After a while noticed the loosening and wobble effect happening . I did follow directions as to not over tighten, but I guess it started to give and overly loosen over time . We did numerous tweaking and tightening , rechecking periodically all the parts and connecting functionality. I came home from work one evening to find my son laying burrito style in his mattress , on the floor with all the frame poles and large pieces laying about and around / on him . He said : Mom , …I tried ,,,but the pieces started going —-one by one, I fastly slow motioned to this position ,I tried to get up but I’m stuck , so I just laid here hoping you didn’t have any errands and would come straight home . ••••Obviously a bit overboard with the dramatic display•••• ( we all know he was just too lazy ,wanted mom to pick it all up and dispose of . ) And I did -, but it was sad to see such a nice bed frame turn out to be such a beautiful unusable pile of broke up pieces in less then a year ... show more

Best deal for the money! I can't believe this is so solid, shipped right to my door for under $90 It's pretty simple to assemble if you go by the directions, make sure to use all the parts! The Matte Black finish is nice and adds a vintage touch. I strongly suggest this frame.
