The instructions are poorly written. It took me more time to figure this out by reading the instructions. I could not figure it out if time was ticking against me. I assembled it. took me all day. I got frustrated and almost gave up. I love the concept, the style and the material. You cant beat it for the price; my brain was shut afterwards. Do-able. but tidious to assemble. They are steady the third bunk is just high enough for my 3 year old grandson to climb on and off with no problem.
