Not the most sturdy but as a bed, and for the price, this was a great purchase. I was missing a key for assembling. Please next time check your orders and that there’s no screws or keys missing on your packets !

Love the design and look of this bed but the build was so hard! I normally build any furniture that requires it by myself- this one really needed two people at a few times and/or a different tool than provided. I built the headboard and footboard easily enough with the instructions but the rails and attaching the rails to the head and footboards was so hard to do. There's a few points where you need to hold a nut with the wrench tool provided while you screw with the allen wrench and balance two pieces and that wrench tool slips constantly - my husband helped me build this and had to grab a wrench from our toolset to get an actual grip on the nut. The rails in particular were frustrating to get level. Just a bizarre screw system to get everything attached- hard to explain exactly. Slats just set into place one by one, that was easy! Once built, the bed feels very solid and my kiddo is happy with it; no creaks like her old wood Ikea bed. Picture is with an Ikea mattress on the bedframe for reference. ... show more
