This bed is the easiest to assemble. Instructions is easy to understand and the images of parts to what goes with really helps a lot. I like how light it is even though the weight capacity is over 400 lbs? I’m really surprised. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. Also they took care of my defective parts and sent the damaged part right away .Vecelo has given me excellent customer service with prompt response.

This is a beautiful bed. I really like it. When you put it together, make sure that the holes on the posts are closest to the outside of the bed, so there is maximum distance between the bed rails. I accidently flipped the posts the wrong way, so the bed slats wouldn't fit between the bed rails. Also, if you need to contact customer service, make sure that you fill out their form on their website. When I had a question about the product, I had difficulty getting a response from them. They never responded to the email I sent them, and the phone went straight to voicemail. Then I finally got a response when I filled out the online form.

This bedframe is really very pretty and well made. There were only 2 slight problems with assembly where the top and bottom rounded bed slats were supposed to be bolted in, the holes in the frame and end of the slat could not be aligned to be bolted in, but they work just fine since there is a slot they fit in just right and are held down by the mattress. I have to give high praise for the hardware kit and they way its packaged and the assembly instructions themselves. The hardware kit had all the pieces sorted and separated and numbered so there was no doubt about which piece went where. It was great that the instructions were more than just pictures and arrows-actually told attach piece "A" to piece "B" with all the pieces labled with an alphabet and all the nuts, bolts and washers labled with a number. They include an Allen wrench and box wrench so you aren't really supposed to need any other tools to assemble. But my husband and I needed his adjustable crescent wrench to finish tightening the nuts onto the bolts because the included wrench was not quite up to the job. I didn't have enough strength to tighten some of the bolts, but my husband showed me how to put the short end of the Allen wrench in to the bolt and had a lot more leverage pressing/turning the Allen wrench with the long side. I also need to turn the bolts the other way around on the 2 outside center support legs so that you won't scrape your knees on them when making the bed. This really should be included in the instructions. I think the bed looks very nice all put together and it was a gift for my sister. She says the bed is not squeeky at all and she really likes it very much! The value is great because you get both headboard and footboard, and you don't have to purchase a box spring so that saves some money. For approximately $37 more that the price of just a frame you get the headboard AND footboard which is super nice in my opinion! I would recommend this bedframe but get your own wrench and save a few 4 letter words flying during assembly. It took about an hour for assembly, but that could be cut down if you have your own wrench, I think.

I am an "older" female and I put this bed together myself. It took me 4 hours, but, that's because I have never done anything like this, with so many pieces and screws. The instructions could not have been any easier to follow!! Seriously, the best directions I have ever seen. I love the bed. It's very attractive and sturdy! Highly recommend!!

This wasn't the simplest thing I've ever assembled, but once I got the hang of it it wasn't bad (I'm the mom of a teen so I have a lot of furniture assembly experience) Two of the most important pieces of this bed frame were the wrong size so the finished product ended up kind of bowed and a few of the slats didn't fit but overall it was fine and it's generally sturdy so I'm just using it as-is rather than return it or request new parts. I only ended up with 2 extra parts and like 8 extra screws so not bad I guess. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble it myself. I'm neutral on whether I'd recommend this bed frame or not but if things like extra pieces and screws bug you then you should definitely go with a different bed frame.

We were thoroughly surprised with the quality and beautiful look of this frame. We were concerned it might be flimsy and poorly made, but the parts are solid and strong. Our other concern was that it may shake or rattle with movement, but it is REALLY sturdy and has more than adequate support below. It did take some time to assemble though (30-45 minutes), but it comes with fairly easy instructions and is well worth the work. Excellent buy for sure!

Waited over a month for shipping then the box was ripped up from shipping by usps. Vital frame pieces missing could not assemble. Contacted company via phone and email and no reply on either. Would have liked to keep the bed as this one is my 3rd vecelo bed frame and the quality was really good for the price. The frame was like the others i have, really sturdy and assembly on the others was really straight forward. No reply from company so had to return through amazon.
