It took me 3 hours to assemble and I have ZERO experience and limited tools at home but the package actually had all I needed. I also liked how sturdy this is and that the edges are not sharp but well finished with all areas painted. The height size is standard and will allow my girls to grow in it. Assembly directions are well written, easy to read and understand. Pictures are very helpful. While assembling the bed. Assembly was fairly Easy. Once the bed is assembled it is quite sturdy. Once it was put against the wall (in the corner), there were no issues even when the kids were getting up and down off of the top bunk.they also provided the wall brackets for extra safety if you need to attach to the wall. Overall very satisfied with the quality and finish of the bunk bed. My kids liked a lot especially because of pink color High recommend this product. ... show more

This was easy to put together, though i did have help. It works great for my boys. I dont love the ladder, i think the slats should be wider and flat now rounded but my son just climbs up the side anyways so he doesnt use it. The only other thing is its squeeky. If the top bunk person rolls around or moves everyone in the house can hear it. Some dw40 may help that though. ... show more

The bed is very sturdy. Even tho it’s cheap it’s a good bed. The only thing is the ladder is a bit uncomfortable but I’m used to it. The bed does wobble a bit but using what they provided for u to attach to the wall and it’s secure. One tip is if u live in a house or apartment try to find at least the wood behind the wall , drill into it and with that it will definitely not move. I also weigh 155 and I’m 5’3. So when I climb I put my whole weight to go up. Also buy a thin bed cuz mine reach to the top so if your child wants this make sure to have or buy a thin bed so they won’t fall off while sleeping. ... show more

Do not buy this. The ladder wouldn’t secure to the frame and I was told by Amazon they do not have the ability to send replacement parts for this item.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a bunk bed. From what other parents have told me, they fall apart quickly. From what I have seen with indoor displays they are flimsy as well. I absolutely needed one with two growing kids sharing a bedroom. I was surprised at the quality. It's very sturdy! The pink color is not loud like a hot pink but softer. The metal is not thin either.
