I took 1 star off because it isn't 8 inches it's 7 inches thick. BUT don't let that stop you. This mattress is very comfortable and affordable. If you are on the heavier side you will feel the base of your frame on your lower back and hips so get a topper or put a soft mat underneath the mattress. I highly recommend laying the mattress FLAT and UNZIPPING the entire mattress and every corner for the first 72 hours so that the corners inflate all the way then rezip and use. There is a slight smell that 100% disappears after 35 hours or so. Don't be alarmed by the cheap fabric under the protector, its just cotton. It's cheap. If you're older or obese this mattress isn't for you. Exactly the correct size of a full. The memory foam is very comfortable and on the soft side NOT FIRM.

I purchased this 4” mattress topper for a bed in my parent’s home where my husband and I sleep when we visit. The mattress is like sleeping on granite and I wake every morning with shooting nerve pain down my legs and arms. Since we are visiting more often as they age I wanted to find something that would help with the pain, and just as important, something that was cooling. My husband is a furnace at night and my parents don’t have AC. With this mattress topper I was 50% successful. I purchased the full sized topper for a full size mattress and it hangs over an inch or two on each side, but better too big than too small. It does make the sheets fit wrong though. It took a couple of days for the topper to expand but I didn’t detect any odor from the foam. I ended up rolling on it after a couple of days to try to even out the expansion. It helped, but there is still a ridge down the center where it was folded in half. The mattress topper is very comfortable, if a little hard. I didn’t want something too soft anyway because I didn’t want to sink in. I’ve only slept on it for two nights but I can definitely say I did not wake up in pain. For comfort I would give this at least 4 stars. For cooling however, it missed the mark. If anything, I slept even hotter than usual, and this is October in upstate NY! My husband who is usually dead to the world as soon as he closes his eyes, commented that he slept hotter than usual as well (and that’s saying something!). That aspect was disappointing. The topper comes with a very nice zipper cover so can be washed. Perhaps if we removed the cover the cooling aspect would work better? I’m not going to try it though. I have mixed feelings about this mattress topper. For comfort I would recommend. But if cooling is important stay away from this one.

I was struggling with a gap between my mattress and the headboard, whih not only looked unsightly but also compromised my comfort. This mattrss topper has completely solved this issue. Easy to set up, just had to tear itopen out of the plastic wrap. I simply placed it on top of my mattress, and instantly, it provided a snug and perfect fit on my full bed frame. The elastic edges ensured that it stayed securely in place. The comfort level is also gud. It adds just the right amount of cushioning. Not too soft or too firm. I love it. Also, this is my second vecelo product. I bought a lighted headboard full bed frame from vecelo, which I like too. I recommed this brand to whoever in search of bed frame or mattress topper.

I wouldn’t recommend buying this mattress. I’ve purchased several memory foam mattresses, and none of them have ever deformed or deflated. Not a single thing has been on the mattress, and it’s been out of the packaging for over 7 days!

Just what I needed. I have a very nice quality mattress that has some softness to it but it was a little too firm for the times that I sleep on my side. I had tried another 3" soft memory foam mattress cover which felt way too soft. Next I ordered this 2" medium firm mattress topper to try out and it feels just right. Soft enough to let my shoulder and hip sink in when I'm on my side, but firm enough for when I'm sleeping on my back so that my back feels good in the morning. It was really hard to sift through mattress topper reviews to pick the right one as they all had so many bad reviews. In my opinion, it's really all about the combination of the topper and the mattress you're setting it on.
