I love these stools. They were very easy to put together. The only thing I do wish is that they were a tad bit taller because when you sit on them they go down some and for a shorter person like me 4'11'' even that little bit if going down when you sit on the stools counts for the height to the counter. Also, when you get up of of them the hydraulic in them is sort of loud so I get a little nervous like are they coming apart. Oh and be careful sitting on them if you're short the lean a little initially getting in them. All in all though so far so good. ... show more

These chairs did have some flaws that were kind of annoying. One of them had the button not completely pushed in and I had to glue it. Another had a little lump where the foam inside had not been laid out completely flat or a little piece got stuck in there. So there's some issues I guess with quality control inspections. But they are pretty nice, pretty easy to put together, and a decent price. The one thing I will warn you is I thought they were broken cuz mine would not go down after I got them up. It just turns out that you have to weigh more than I do (95lbs) to get them to go down... ideally probably at least 110lbs. ... show more

I found these bar stools to be really comfortable having a great cushioning. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The shiny base color really pops out. It can easily handle a person like me with 220 pounds of weight. The brown seats are well built and the threading is even and symmetrical
