- BUILT-IN LOCK SYSTEM uses precision engineered safe technology and anti-impact latch design. LifePod 2.0 can be unlocked using the touch sensitive LED backlit keypad or backup manual keys. To lock LifePod simply press and hold the lock pad to engage the internal locking mechanism. An optional anti-picking feature can be enabled to prevent picking of the front keyway.
- DESIGNED TO PERFORM. Advanced non-metal polymer construction is engineered to be LIGHTWEIGHT with SUPERIOR STRENGTH and DROP TESTED to be the ultimate rugged lockbox. Side compression latches and inner rubber gasket seal off the interior from environmental factors. LifePod is weather resistant, airtight, dust proof, floats, and is TSA compliant.
- Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included) with a battery life of up to one year under normal use. LIFEPODS CAN ALSO BE USED WITHOUT A BATTERY and still function as a water resistant case. The front rubber keyhole cover disguises a hidden micro-USB port to power the unit in case of a dead battery.

This is the second Lifepod I’ve purchased in the last year. Other was the regular Lifepod. I needed bigger for The Governor and it fits perfectly. I like that they are light weight, water proof, have a security cable, come in different colors, easy to program code and change code, easy lock unlock, lighted digital number display, interior light, non slip texture, two emergency keys, the USB cable ability to power in case the battery is dead and the price is worth what you get. The only thing I didn’t know before I purchased the first is that you can only program numbers 1 thru 4 and no number twice. Not a big deal, you might want to get into fast. I just wanted to put a family emergency code in it that we all have used and not forgotten.

I bought this like a year ago and I take it on road trips and keep it locked next to my bed. The original foam is still working good. I have it for an xdm elite, 9mm with the 3.8" barrel and a red dot and extended mag. It barely fits and still has enough foam to hold it in safely and surrounds it fully

This safe is high quality and is large enough to hold a full sized Glock 20 Gen 5 MOS Pistol with a light and green dot site plus an extra mag. Highly recommend it.

I really liked the idea of this safe - portable, dust proof, water resistant, and roomy. Unfortunately, my excitement after unboxing it faded pretty quickly. It was very hard to open - the latches were extremely tight, and the key turned but I had to pull pretty hard on the lid to open it. Once I had it open, I found the rubber gasket inside was halfway off of its track, and I couldn't get it to stay back on. The keys are also very cheap and seemed very unsecure, like a flathead screwdriver could pop the lock about as well as the keys. I'm pretty disappointed with the unit I received. I was looking forward to using it for bedside as well as travel. Still gave it 3 stars since I might've just gotten a bum unit (although I wouldn't like the lock in any case). Given the mostly positive reviews, there are a lot of people happy with this safe, so it might work well for you. Just wasn't for me.
