Then why 4-Gold? As the title of my review is written the material is of a high quality, almost silk but I do not know, with the color of the ribbon stunningly beautiful. The picture on the sell-site will not do it justice. Here is what kept this thing in the 4-Gold territory. It is not the craftsmanship, it is very well made. It is not the sheen of the color, nope. The thing I can't get over is that the material doesn't want to be cut. I tried a pair of sharp, new Fiskars - no; a sharp razor knife, very sharp - no. The material snags and runs no matter what sharp implement that I use. I am not a crafter but I use this ribbon to fill spaces that a picture creates when the frame is larger than the photo. In other words, it fills voids and does a wonderful job at that, again, beautifully. Someone out there I am sure could school me on cutting ribbon properly but for now, I just take my time and deal with it the best that I can. I am not dissuading you from buying this . . . just saying. 4-Gold all day. ... show more

    • Beautiful with most gift wrapping
This lovely ribbon is soft and flexible so it is easy to use in gift wrapping but also in crafting and hair bows. It is wrinkle resistant and there is plenty for several gifts or other uses. The color I received very closely matches the color on my phone’s screen.
