Ever since I saw this type of vinyl material online a few years ago, I knew I wanted to make my own designs with it. After purchasing my Cricut, I knew I finally had to make my dream a reality! This fabric cuts incredibly well and can handle extremely tiny cuts (smaller than a millimeter, if you can believe that!) It’s also very easy to weed once you’ve finished cutting, but for small details you need to be careful because you can puncture/rip your design pretty easily if you’re not paying attention. When cutting, I used the fine point blade and selected the Cricut holographic vinyl setting. (I’m sure there are better settings to use, but this is what worked for me!) I also set my blade to cut with less pressure when I had very small details, but cutting with normal pressure also works great when your pieces aren’t very intricate! Occasionally, I did loose some small parts when weeding and cutting, but you can re-attach them to the plastic before ironing! When ironing, I followed the directions given in the package and it worked great! If I had parts not adhering, I simply went back with my mini iron and gave it another 20 seconds of heat and waited for it to cool. The material looks great in low light (almost like a shiny black on matte black effect on my sweatshirt) and has a neat effect on camera. It really doesn’t look as vibrant in person as it does in my picture, however, I was only using my phone’s camera flash and may look different in brighter lighting (like headlights). I also can’t see the reflection when I’m wearing it, so it may look different to others around me. I can’t wait to experiment with this material in the future and I’m definitely going to be buying again (and possibly buying other colors!)

Not what i expected on arrival. I was very upset that the HTV was so dark!! But I used it anyway!! The results were amazing!! I wished I had another roll because I ran out!! When it was in the sun or taking pics, the shorts were so reflective!! Will order again!!

Love this! Weeds nicely and looks great. I did a test run on an old grey shirt and did a couple of black shirts. The color all depends on lighting. The picture with 2 black shirts was same location all i did was change the angle my camera.

I am making last day of school shirts for myself and my coworkers. Our school colors are blue and silver but we wanted some bright colors and I decided on this rainbow vinyl. It looks rainbow in the picture with the flash but without the flash it looks black. I thought it was going to be more reflective without light on it. I do love how easy it is to weed and iron on. It came with instructions which were pretty precise. However I'm still a novice and not used to warm peel. I cool peeled and it turned out great.

This vinyl looks black until the light hits it. So if you are looking for something with a rainbow effect this product may not be for you. It smells chemically when you are weeding it just warning you sensitive noses out there. Finally I tink it will work bes with a press. I am using an iron right now and just doin a spot that didn’t stick. I don’t want to say it doesn’t work but I am very bothered by the piece that didn’t stick…😒
