I noticed some reviews stated that this lotion was too thin or runny. It IS thin, but still moisturizers well. I think some people may not understand that the fact that it has a thin consistency is what allows it to absorb into the skin so quickly. I've used thick creams when I've had really dry skin, but they always take much longer to be absorbed. Then you have to watch what you touch for a while. Just to note, this lotion also has a nice scent, and does help strengthen nails a little bit. And at a reasonable price! ... show more

my nails tend to be thin and a bit brittle and so I tried this out yrs ago and found it really helped better than anything else I have tried. hadn't seen this in stores in years so was super excited when I found it. I've used this for a few weeks now about every day and the strength in my nails is returning. the smell is light and once applied isn't noticeable and it doesn't take much to cover your hands. this is the same product I remember using years ago. ... show more

I really like this product. I purchased it because I already trust the brand on my sensitive skin. At first I was skeptical because it is much thinner then I was expecting. Instead of thick and creamy like the other lotions, it is almost like a half lotion and half serum. I was also taken back by the scent, it's rather strong. At first it seemed like a strong sunscreen smell almost but with flowery scents mixed in. Now I have come to enjoy it. I use it every night before bed as it dries very quickly, so no worry of staining bedding. It has taken about 2 months of use, about half the container, but my nails are very strong and my hands are very soft. I no longer get hang nails or dry skin around my nail beds. I usually can only get my nails about half the length they are now before they chip or break. It makes sense that it would take a while because the new nourished nail has to grow out.
