Most people know Burt's Bees because it's a name associated with natural and quality. My office requests this lotion specifically because it is not scented and we have many scent allergies and sensitive skins here. Unlike some unscented lotions (Cetaphil, I love you but I'm looking at you, kid!) it does not stink. It seems to be moisturizing and loved. It's used every day but seems to last fine.

I live in Colorado where the climate is very very dry most of the year. My hands were always super dry to the point if I accidentally bumped the wall while walking down the hallway there was a good chance I'd start to bleed. After using this lotion at night before bed for a few nights I could tell a huge difference. My hands are in great shape now and I will continue to use this daily. It rubs in fast and doesn't leave your skin feeling slimy or oily and there is little to no smell.

It smells good—not perfume-y or strong, the scent is more like juniper/rosemary (but not strong like rosemary, thank goodness) & the scent fades too. During the colder months, this really works to keep my hands moisturized. I’ve gotten dry & cracked patches and this really helped! I put it on my feet and makes them softer. I think it’s a little pricey and that’s why I had to subtract a star. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for sure. I already want to order more.

I used to use the silicone based hand creams (such as Glysomed and Avon) to help my cracked, bleeding hands. They worked very well, but I had to apply them quite often sometimes. I read about Burt's Bees Ultimate so I ordered some. It has a pleasant odor (to me), isn't too greasy, and leaves my hands soft. So far this winter, I've only had to use this once or twice a day and my hands have been crack free. A little goes a long way for me, the tube I bought in late October still has a lot left in it. If you're a long time sufferer of dry, cracked, and bleeding hands, I'd give Burt's Bees Ultimate Hand Cream a try. But "bee" sure you get the Ultimate version...Burt's makes several other hand creams. Edit 1/25/19: A few days ago, hands began to crack in a few places. Used some Polysporin in addition to Burt's and the cracks healed in 2 days.

When your hands are really chapped this it one of the best to use. I don't like to and normally don't really put hand cream but I need to and this is up my alley. It has no scent that I can discern and it is strong, as in it really moisturized. it is thick but sinks in instantly. Th only other one I will use is Aveeno bc it has no scent and bc it does the same thing, sinks right in, not greasy. This one is more powerful than Aveeno. I use Aveeno most of the time but when my skin needs something strong I use this.

This is the second time I've started using this regularly (I ran out months ago and put off buying more) and both times I've noticed immediate improvement in my skin- fewer cracks and softer to the touch. It even helps the soles of my feet! I have pretty sensitive skin and other lotions sometimes give me red bumps, or even a burning sensation when my skin is particularly dry. But I've never had any negative reaction to Burt's Bees products. The scent is not overwhelming, but it is pretty distinctive when you first apply it (I enjoy the scent). After a few minutes it fades to a very subtle scent that's pretty typical for lotions.

I typically use the Origins hand cream but it's $25 a bottle so a co worker of mine introduced me to the Burt's Bees hand lotion. I tried it once and was hooked. It absorbs very quickly and really helps to keep my hands hydrated and soft especially in the northeast winter months. If I'm being honest I don't necessarily love the sent but it's not unpleasant either by any means. For the size of the bottle and how effective this cream is I personally highly recommend it and have bought a second bottle and will continue to use.
