I bought the brown/black one. It took a few hours to put together. Was not hard, just a lot of steps. My husband helped me hold the mirror to attach it, but I did the rest. Some of the areas to assemble are not designed to accommodate someone with BIG Hands. My small hands came in handy for a change! The body of the vanity appears to be very sturdy. The black wrought iron-like pieces are very sturdy and attractive if you like that look. However, the drawers are a bit cheesy. I don't know how well they will hold up over time. They are collapse-able heavy duty plastic-like fabric with a heavier bottom base. I would not suggest putting anything heavy in the drawers. Light-weight makeup, brushes, etc., but I would not recommend anything with significant weight to it. The front face of the drawer is glued on (and also secured by the screwed in bar handles). It looks fine, but again, I don't know how well it will hold up over time from constant opening and closing of the very lightweight drawers. BUT it does look cute and just like the picture! The stool is a tad small, but I am a petite person. So the stool is fine for me.

Overall it was easy to assemble. And turned out very sturdy. The drawers are cloth-like with a hard front. I was a little disappointed that they were cloth because makeup can easily stain the inside. I’ve had this almost a year now and use it daily. The stool & table are staying sturdy (and I’ve moved it to different rooms). I added a vanity light also. Good purchase for the money.

I almost broke up with my partner while assembling this. Get an offset screwdriver. After it was assembled, though, it was super easy to move & place. I have a 4 for sturdiness because it's definitely a lightweight piece - I mean, I'm not adding it into my will to pass on to the next generation, but I don't think it will break and I know it would be easy to move. The 5 stars are in the design - there is so much dang storage in this little piece. Also, even with the stool tucked in, you can fit another tall/slim set of drawers. I have a tiny trashcan and a basket under mine, and it's glorious. I also like that the shape is a little art deco, a little mid-century - I am planning on covering the table with contact paper because I'm messy and it's white, and any marble look contact paper goes fabulously with this vanity. The hardware is attractive, so you can get creative with the flat surfaces. Anywho. That's my pitch! Also, if you're reading this from a Buzzfeed article, I got the white and gold one with 3 medium drawers, 2 tiny drawers, a shelf, and the oval frame. I know sometimes those links hit items that have other versions in the listing; I can only vouch for this iteration (it was just this & the same but dark wood and metal as the 2 options at my time of purchase).

Good price for it. The cabinets are of a fabric material with a harder front panel. I recommend paying attention to certain pieces that need to be facing forward or back with the holes. Twice I screwed in a piece the wrong way only to have to flip it and retighten it. Looks nice and the right fit for where I needed to place it.

Got this to replace a clunky vintage wooden vanity that had a broken leg. It's definitely sleek and was easy to put together. Takes up way less space and seems very sturdy so far. The only thing that bugged me was that the "drawers" are basically just stiffer versions of those little folding cubes you use in cube shelves with particle board drawer fronts attached. We will see how that works out. Might have to make some real drawers at some point. But the rest of the vanity is really nice.

Love the vanity. Was exactly what I was looking for. Simple and sleek. Took 2.5 hours to assemble alone. Directions were straightforward, but I didn't agree with the order of some steps. It all worked out in the end though. Well packaged. Comes with extra screws (you will have left over screws). You'll need a power drill to assist with assembly. Mirror is optional. Be sure to measure your space.
