In comparison to IKEA, the materials are 80% there, but the hardware is definitely better than IKEA. You get screws to hold the back board on, whereas IKEA give you small nails. You do however have to drill them as there are no pilot holes. Make sure you have a drill. It will save you a lot of time and effort. I can't imagine doing it without. My size 10 shoes just fit in the cubbies, so if you're a baller you might want to find something bigger. Size over all is ok, but I was expecting it about 25% larger. Make sure you check the size and measure your space. Nice and narrow to fit in your entry space. Seat is low enough for little kids. Can recommend.

I love this item. It is the perfect height for sitting with generous sized slots for my shoes. I wish the slots were adjustable but you can't have everything at this price point. I'm a plus size woman and it supported me while I was putting on socks and shoes without moving.

This shoe stand was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and the accessories were well organized. I made a mistake and had one of the side walls upside down and because of that the horizontal shelf lat was not sitting right. I could fix the issue (once I figured out) in 5 minutes and it looks great by our entryway. Very happy with this product.

Product is nice and it seems sturdy. However, some labels and direction indicators are missing. Causing misaligned on the shelves. I had to disassemble the left side several times just to be able to put the shelves in correctly. This also cause several holes on the front of my bench because the shelves insert steps are after the steps where you screwed in 24 holes to enclosed the back board.
