This was super easy to put together. They say it can hold up to 370 lbs -- I would mistrust that. They don't tell you what it's made of! I think it's pretty sturdy, but I wouldn't count on it holding up to much abuse for too long. It folds and has a sturdy "board" to put in the bottom and the top holds everything in place. I put it at the foot of my bed to help my dog get onto the bed (it's great for that!) and also to sit on occasionally when I'm dressing;. It doesn't wobble when I sit gently on it. It holds a lot for its size. I bought a "used-like new" one and it had noticeable damage on one corner of the lid. Hardly like new. But, for my needs, I decided to keep it and just turn that side to the bed. ... show more

Love my purchase. Replaced an old toy chest for my daughter's mermaid themed bedroom as well as an cute toy box/bench that will have mermaid colored pillows displayed. I love it it's spacious the lid has some weight to its perfect for sitting/reading/storing. Base a little flimsy but the lid sets it in place. I want to order multiple in black wall to wall for my dinning and add some cute pillows to them! I'm lazy no photos but exactly as pictured won't be disappointed depending on what it's use for. When first opened I thought it might not be as sturdy as stated but after folding out the sides and putting the top on it certainly was!
