This was a little difficult to put together and a little time consuming. Overall it has a pleasant look to it and for a pantry that is not that wide, does have quite a bit of storage. I originally ordered it for my canning but wound up using it also for regular storage of my dining area such as seasonal tablecloths and placemats and such. It can also be attached to wall so it won't tip over, But I have heavy pots on the bottom so it is quite stable. It is a very nice addition to my kitchen area ... show more

It's perfect! It took me just over 2 hours to put this together by myself. A power drill will save you tons of time because it would be tedious using a regular screwdriver but still do-able! I found the directions very easy. I've put together other products that have directions in the same style, so I had no issues moving right along from step to step. It looks great. It's sturdy and it holds a lot of stuff. I still have plenty of room on the shelves to add more. The items in the picture came from a smaller pantry cabinet I was using before, so I can definitely push things to the back or stack things to add more. The only thing it's not great for is big cereal boxes. I usually buy the family size boxes so they are just too bulky to fit, but I plan to put those right on the top of the cabinet, so no big deal! ... show more

I've built many pieces of furniture like this, having previously been a manager of a store that required me to assemble all of the multiple displays. This was a joy. Every hole and indent for a peg, nail, or screw was exactly where it should be, everything had an exact fit, and the instructions were very easy to understand. It was definitely a time consuming build, but was well worth it. I especially liked the backing that fit together in sections versus having to nail a 3x6 one-piece panel that had no guide holes. It is a good size. I ended up painting it to match the kitchen island and the paint took well. On the downside, it is kind of flimsy. It wobbles a bit when opening doors. Not really impressed with the quality, but then again it was reasonably priced...

The cabinet is beautiful but took a very long time to assemble. The directions were not in English and so took awhile to try to find translation that could be understood. Very difficult to assemble. Also has an odor that cannot be eliminated. Have tried leaving door open to no avail.Any suggestions?

I love this cabinet. Slight chemical smell that went away. Took five/six hours to put together. For the end steps (putting on the backing) it’s easier to do with a power drill bc there’s no guiding holes, though you could probably still do it with a little force. Instructions were easy to understand. Fits more stuff than I thought it would. Four stars because you get what you pay for: cheap wood(?), and it came with small cosmetic issues (scratches on hardware, chipped paint). Also my local FedEx is a nightmare to work with.
