This VASAGLE dining table really surprised me with how sturdy and well-built it feels once assembled. It has a nice height—not too low—and the wood grain paired with the black legs gives it a clean, modern vibe that still feels warm and lived-in. Assembly was simple enough to do solo. The only hiccup was a small gap between the panels on top. It seemed like they weren’t aligning perfectly at first, but after gently tilting the table on its side and giving it a firm nudge downward, the panels clicked into place much better. It’s not a flawless seam, but it doesn’t bother me now that it’s set up. The table comfortably fits 4 people, maybe 6 in a pinch, and it’s held up well to everyday use. I haven’t tested hot pots directly on the surface, but it feels durable enough to handle some heat, and it’s definitely easy to wipe clean. If you’re looking for an affordable, stylish table that still feels reliable and solid, this is a great pick. Just be mindful of the panel alignment during setup and you’re good to go. ... show more

It’s a basic table but, the sleek sexy look of it is modern and not farm. It’s not a farm style at all. Made of faux leather wood and steel, it’s quite durable when assembled. It’s very easy to assemble. Add the hardware and then legs and, voila. It’s not as big as you might think but, it is pretty tall; taller than a traditional dining table. I like that you can play with it with colors. Although the faux wood time is a deep walnut and the legs are black, I can picture cream colored chairs or even a medium taupe. I mean, it's a table. And I guess it's the size advertised at least? But good Lord, SUCH A PAIN TO PUT TOGETHER, all to end up with an utterly meh table. The mallet they included was a nice if incredibly necessary touch, and definitely presaged the amount of effort necessary to assemble it. And look. I love putting furniture together. I tell my kids it's my "grown-up Legos." But when I found myself breaking a sweat whaling away on the connectors with the rubber tipped mallet to try and attach the legs to the frame, the thrill was most assuredly gone. The top is also three pieces with connectors like yours see in an expandable table top, right? But like... It's NOT an expandable table. The frame is attached to all three sections and doesn't adjust or anything. I'm legitimately bummed that I didn't return it before I started assembling it. But it's also fine or whatever. It's the right size, and even tho there's somehow paint missing on the legs already I don't care enough to try like re-packaging and returning the thing. Unless you've always wanted to channel your inner "John Henry the steel-driving man," maybe pass on this one. ... show more

I like its simple design and the size. It was a great size for my kitchen. My chairs are higher then the table because they are for bars. It wasn't very difficult to assemble. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. I realized at the end that the middle section of the wood I put it wrong because I didn't pay attention to the patterns of the wood. I still need to fix that but I was too tired today to redo the top. I need to unscrew all the top part and fix it. Other than day, all went great, and I am satisfied. ... show more

We ordered this for the guest house because of its value. It's pretty inexpensive for what you were getting. It arrives in a box on assembled and the instructions say it should take about 15 minutes to put together. By myself, it took about 35. I imagine it would go faster with a second person. It doesn't require any extra tools, only the Allen key it comes with. Put together, it is incredibly sturdy. I was actually surprised at how sturdy this thing is. Each of the legs has a little piece on the bottom that both swivels and angles so that you can ensure a sturdy and flat fit to your floor if it's a bit uneven. It states that it holds 220 pounds. I sat on it, at 165 pounds, and it didn't budge. It matches almost all decor because it's a medium brown and the matte black legs give it an elevated appearance even though it's affordable Now, the reason for the one star reduction: the woodgrain. I really wish the three pieces that create the top of the table were matched. I tried flipping the middle piece around and it still did not flow properly to the outside pieces. The woodgrain definitely does not flow as you go across the table and it's very evident that it's three separate pieces because of the spacing between the pieces. again, this is my guest house so it's not a big deal but I don't know that I would buy it again for a main area just because of how it looks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This table is very impressive from quality materials, to ease of assembly and the scratch resistance! First, I love that the rubber hammer and everything for easy assembly is included. The instructions are very clear and it was very easy to put together. The weight is perfect, not to heavy, but stays in place. It is big enough to seat 6 people comfortably. I did try to scratch it on the bottom of the table with putting a pan on it and rubbing it around. Not one mark was there! I hope that it will hold up like that over time. Overall, I would say this table is well worth getting! ... show more
