A very heavy carton arrived with one corner smashed in, but due to the manufacturer’s careful packing, there was no damage inside. If you have ever assembled furniture before, you know this is sometimes a daunting task. However, this was extremely easy: the shelves were labled with a small sticker and all fasteners were individually bagged and labeled. Included were a small screwdriver and hex wrenches. Instructions were easy to read and follow. I completed the assembly by myself in just under one hour. The TV stand is very sturdy. Two metal bars under the bottom shelf lock into the one-piece metal legs at each end and prevents any lateral movement. The lightweight backing sheet in the center section provides additional stability. All fasteners went in precisely and were well thought out in their location. Not pictured or shown in the description, is a small wooden block which is screwed underneath the center of the bottom shelf for added support. This is a great TV stand and I am glad I bought it!

It’s great for the value don’t get me wrong, but the tools make it a pain to set up. Had bruises all over my hands because of the screws and tools. Great value tho and worth the money.
