Well it took me about 10 hours to put together this thing, but I was new to assembling. It was worth every bit of that time, because I love this unit. I like that I can change colors in the flames and even the lights in the cabinet to fit my mood.

I've been looking for a fireplace console for a long time and after reading through reviews regarding this one I took a chance. The price was right as I got it during Amazon prime days. I can't say enough good thi gs about this item. The box was in perfect shape when it arrived - it was about 140 lbs so I needed help getting it in the house. I opened the box and pulled out all the pieces. They were packed carefully with lots of Styrofoam and all parts in perfect shape. It did take a while to put it together but it is a solid rich looking piece so it is worth the time I spent doing it. I thought the instructions were very easy to follow. All the holes matched up so no frustration there. Beautiful glass shelves and the fire looked great and the colors changed with a touch of the remote. The only thing I will change is I will cover up the somewhat large opening behind the 2 storage sides with something so you can't see the wall behind it. I absolutely LOVE this fireplace! It is extremely well made and solid. For the quality that you get, the price is unbelievable. The quality and look exceeded by expectations! Before choosing this item, I did a great deal of research on fireplace T.V. stands that could hold a 70 inch T.V. I struggled to find one for less than $1,000.00 that offered the features I was looking for and that looked as nice as this one. Here is a quick breakdown of the features and design 1. It will hold a 70 inch T.V. with no problem. The T.V. in my photos is a 70 inch. 2. It does come with two (2) LED lights that you will secure to the roof of each shelf. They are screwed in so no worrying about them detaching. 3. It is remote operated but you can also control it without the remote. 4. It is a heater that has a temperature gauge on it so you can set your desired temperature. The highest Is 82 degrees. 5. It is a fanned heater, so the hot air is blown, which helps to heat a room and circulate the hot air. 6. You have the options of turning the lights on and off separately from the heat. This allows you to turn the fire effect and lights on for ambiance if you don't need to heat the room. It also means that, if you don't want the fire effect and lights on but you want the heat, you can do that as well. 7. There is a timer option that you can set to have the fireplace shut itself off after a period of time. 8. It's designed so that wires can easily be hidden. There are holes in the back to fish plugs through. 9. The pegs that are used to secure the glass shelves are screw ins verses push ins, so they are fare more secure and stable. The pegs also have rubber bumpers to protect the glass. 10. It comes with four (4) glass shelves, which are made of tempered glass to allow for weighted objects to be placed on them. You will need to review the manual for the amount of weight each shelf can hold. Other Things To Know: I really do love this fireplace and think that it is definitely worth the money, but there is a reason I could not give it 5 stars. The reasons are not deal breakers at all, but they are things worth noting. 1. If you look at the color of the product on the product page for Black Oak, you'll find that the fireplace does appear to be black, however, in the pictures that I've posted you'll notice that the actual color is much lighter and more of a dark grey than black. For clarification, I did order and receive Black Oak, NOT Graphite Gray. 2. The instructions I receive missed a step in the installation process and so one screw that helps to secure the top to the base was never installed. I can assure you however, it didn't take away from the sturdiness of the stand, otherwise I was have dismantled it to install the screw. This items comes with plenty of screws and is VERY well constructed. 3. I'm not sure if this happened during opening the box, but one of the LED light strips had a cut in it, and so I was forced to splice the wire and secure it together to ensure it worked. Again, this may have happened when opening the box so be careful if using a cutting knife. ... show more

Let me start by saying I'm going on almost 5 years of having this fireplace and it just went out. I keep getting an E3 code when I try to put the heat on. I've gone through all the steps on trying to fix it up unfortunately it won't work. I did still give it 5 starts because up until today it has been absolutely amazing and it's so pretty. The glass with the lighted fireplace just adds so much to my bedroom. I will be calling the manufacturer to hopefully find a fix to make the heat work again! ... show more
