Honestly. Out of everything I’ve bought recently this has to be the most satisfying. The instructions were a pain to find, I had to dig through the blockage and wreckage of the box. But I don’t judge products based off the box or delivery (which it came almost 3 days early for the record) I judge it off the assembly and the finished product, and I must say this holds up. The assembly takes a long time, I won’t lie to you. Some people said four hours, it personally took me over three close to four hours. I did this solo and it wasn’t difficult. The instructions are fairly straight forward. It’s more of a rinse and repeat process. I will say, pay close attention to each piece and where you’re screwing it in. They don’t use a ton of words and the pictures look the exact same so my front is on backwards and thus my back panels are only bolted to the top of the stand rather than all around. A minor problem, honestly it doesn’t even change my opinion of it. Honestly, and I truly mean this. It’s great. Sturdy, beautiful, it’s a pain to put together but it’s not impossible or difficult really. The finished product is worth the price, especially if you get it at a discount. The lights have three modes, the fireplace actually works fairly well, the glass has multiple bolts so you can adjust how far up or low it is. My TV is 55” I think it fits perfectly. I’ve had it for almost a month and it doesn’t fall apart when you move it or drag it on the ground to adjust it (shout out to my solo homies doing this alone as well) Truly no complaints. If you take away the delivery aspect and all of the bs that impacts a lot of peoples ratings before they even get the thing, it’s truly a great product and I’d 100% recommend it. ... show more

This piece is very nice for the price. It looks great - clean and modern - works well, feels sturdy, and assembles easily. All pieces/hardware were clearly marked, nicely organized, and well-packaged. The is instructions were clear and easy to follow. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 - 3 hours. Per other reviews, I put the fireplace crystals into the fireplace insert BEFORE attaching the insert to the cabinet (the instructions make no mention of doing this). I highly recommend doing the same as it would be an exercise in frustration to put them in after you've attached the insert to the cabinet. There were no clear instructions on which screws to remove from the insert to be able to put the crystal inside. There are four small screws on the back of the flanged piece that holds the front of the insert in place. Very simple to remove and replace. The only other note I have that was not included in the instructions is that there are small pinholes on several pieces where you insert the tacks that hold the back panels in place - make sure you have them all facing the same side - this will be the backside. Because the top and bottom pieces are essentially symmetrical, they can face either direction, so just make sure all the pinholes are on the same side as each other. The media could not be loaded. Beautiful addition to my living space. Everything worked after I put it together. You do need two people to carry the boxes they are heavy. One very patience person can put this unit together. It really needs two because the unit is on its side, and you need to turn it upright. Before attaching the top look at the unit from the front and make sure all the pieces are facing the correct way. The reason for the 4 stars on assemble is because the bottom railing instructions are different from the actually instructions that came with the unit. It seems they may have updated the bottom railing assembly, put did not change the instructions. My fireplace is just sitting on the bottom bracket. It is not attached. This tv stand, fireplace is one of the most important and satisfying purchases I have ever made on Amazon. It adds the perfect touch to my new room. The heater in conjunction with the imaginary flames sets the tone for a very romantic couple privacy or as a gathering of family and friends. It was easy to install, all of the components were present for assembly and there is no maintenance. It is easy to move across the floor for cleaning. Should there be a need to wipe off the surface, it is a breeze, as well as dusting. The price is absolutely amazing. I have only had this for 3 months so I cannot speak on the longevity of it but I certainly say it is bringing such happiness and joy to our lives now and I hope in the future. The different options of changing the colors of the flames as well as well as the background lighting of the shelves makes it even more fantastic.
