I’ve spent all morning trying to put this together and it seems the rails on the J2 part are wrong. The drawers won’t pull out. Seems to be a manufacturing flaw. If the vender is able to send me the correct pull for the J2 piece I may be able to fix.... but at this point it’s all together and nearly impossible to send back. I hope to get a response so I can change my review. Overall this is a great little chest. I just can’t open and close the drawers smoothly AT ALL with the wrong track on the right side. *** UPDATE **** seller contacted me right away and let me know they are sending a replacement right away! If it comes and the drawers close properly, I will actually probably order a second on. Its a great little chest and perfect for socks and scarves and such. It looks great too! I truly hope there are only a few out there being shipped with the wrong track becasue this is a cute litlte dresser. ... show more

It was super easy to assemble. My 9 year old did just about the whole thing with little assistance from his dad. It’s made very very well. Real wood like I wanted. We woke up in the middle of the night to an inch of standing water in my sons room from a busted water pipe and the water didn’t damage the dresser at all. I really wanted to give this 5 stars but with everything else being so perfect, the tracks for the drawers aren’t the best quality. It kind of sticks when opening and closing and they just feel cheap and wobbly. If it weren’t for those tracks, it definitely would’ve earned 5 stars. Despite that, I still might order another one for my daughters room. ... show more

Nice dresser for the price. Took away some stars because mine was also missing some parts (two J2’s for the drawer). But I contacted the seller and they helped me to find a solution since the product was out of stock and they weren’t able to send me the parts. After figuring out what to do with the drawers, it works pretty well. Assembly was what I was expecting, and simple enough to do (but I’m the type that likes assembling furniture). I cannot say enough good things about the customer service for this company. I ordered two of these for nightstands and they are the perfect height for my needs. Assembly is a little tricky, but be sure to follow the diagrams precisely! Also, be very careful as the finish is easily scratched. Work on a carpet or other soft surface. I had a couple of issues and when I emailed the company, customer service was quick to respond and send out replacement parts. Very professional and friendly responses. The chests themselves look great and are very sturdy. Overall I'm pleased. These were out of stock for a long time and I looked at other chests I could use, but I didn't find anything I liked as well as these for the price. Sooo, yes, I saw the negative reviews and purchased it anyway because it was the only thing I could find in the right size and color. I hoped I wouldn't have the issues noted, but I did have a few. I did receive all the correct parts and it was not hard to put together, but the issue with the drawers opening and closing correctly was my biggest problem. The tracks that are pre-installed were significantly bent on the top on 2 drawers causing it to catch when opening and closing it. I was able to remove them and hammer it down which helped a little. Also, you have to pull the drawers with both handles or it will get stuck again, this isn't very wide, it's shouldn't be necessary to use 2 hands to open the drawer, but if you use one and it even pulls a little to that side...issue with the tracks again. I may find a way to MacGyver it as time goes on, but just wanted to set correct expectations for others! ***Update*** The drawers are horrible! I think it was the misalignment of the predrilled holes for the screws not allowing the sides of the dresser to come closer together to prevent the rollers from falling off. Once that happens you have to work it to get it back on. Not sure if other ideas will help with this or not. Might have to take it apart enough and try to make new holes that align better, because who wants to take it ALL the way apart, pack it up and send it back after all that. That's probably what they count on! 😡 ... show more
