I know the advertisement boasts how far the sound and travel clearly, but I was very skeptical. However, once I connected my phone to the speaker and played several songs using Spotify, I was blown away by how well I could hear music on high with three rooms between the speaker and I! I was able to play audio for several hours continuously on medium volume. So far I have taken this mini boombox with me on a weekend outing with my family to a park and received a couple of compliments on the sound quality. It also took a few hours to charge the speaker, what's great is that I can still play music so long as the adapter is plugged in to an electrical source. While I haven't had the chance to try this speaker near the water, I have no doubt that it would hold up just fine as it seems to be a very durable and well made Bluetooth speaker. It sounds great when we take it camping or outdoors during the summer months for a barbecue. The light feature is fun, but thankfully you can turn it off to save battery if you just want to focus on the music or the audio you are listening to. It connects quickly and easily to any device that you throw at it, or you can plug in directly via the auxiliary cable. There is thankfully a strap included for connecting it to a backpack when traveling, or perhaps even a belt loop if you had pockets deep enough to carry it. This speaker is great value for the price. Easy to connect via bluetooth and easily operated with buttons on the speaker. The volume was great for a small speaker. I felt that the battery didn't last as long as i would've liked but it wasnt a deal breaker.
