Purchased a set 3 years ago, always on my bike rain or shine except when changing. The batteries are solid and I've used the in the rain (1inch+rainfall a day). It is bright and has a couple of different settings. The only, albeit minor, issue is when the battery is low, it just turns off without warning. I have learned to put it on the charger each time I think it even starts to look dim.

Amazing lights and so easy to use. Got the bike out from winter, and the lights still held a charge through my 1st spring ride. Easy to mount on the posts of the bike, very bright. 2nd set, have them on both road bikes.

I was looking for a good light that would fit on the rear of my helmet; I wanted something reliable and bright so that drivers could easily see me from behind. With the shorter days coming ahead in the fall and winter, I am often riding while dark. All said, these lights are perfect! It was the right size (not too big) and the included mount made it easier to fit into my helmet. The light is bright, and with the flashing option, it will definitely get your attention! These taillights are bright, long-lasting (12 hrs in flashlight mode), rechargeable, sturdy, and a REALLY GOOD DEAL. Tldr; My Volcano Eye USB rechargeable taillights (2-pack, model VE-BT056) arrived, and they easily exceed my expectations, beginning with the packaging! The lights, mounting straps, and USB cables (2 of each) are snugly packed into a very nice, heavy-duty keepsake cardboard box. Mine arrived already charged, and wow: they're bright, easy to mount, easy to turn on/off/switch modes, and sturdy. They came with a glossy color trifold quickstart guide (hats off to your tech writers, Volcano Eye!) that describes features, basic specs, lighting modes, how to mount the light on your bike, etc. And there is a nice, B&W card with contact info for Volcano Eye. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the lights, the features, the documentation, the whole package. And most of all the fantastic value! I've paid more for Serfa, Blackburn, and other brands that have done the job but offered fewer features and less promise than Volcano Eye's taillights.
