We had 12 out 13 of our chicks hatch successfully! It kept consistent temp from day 1 and was very easy to set up and use. We followed all the instructions except the spraying with the spray bottle after lockdown. We were not able to adjust humidity so we put a tiny container with a wet sponge. The only other issue was getting the humidity back down once the chicks hatched so they could dry off. The little humidity vent doesn’t really do anything. There is one other problem with this incubator, the wires are all hanging down, so after the chicks hatched and started walking around they were getting caught in the wires. We had to slap a piece of tape on it so they wouldn’t get stuck up in them. Other then that it seemed to work perfect! ... show more

    • So far not to happy, but could be operator error.
The humidity is at 68% and the temp is at 8.1, cannot adjust down and the display screen is in a foreign language! Will probably send back. I did send it back

    • Nothing hatched
Not sure what went wrong -- we raise Chickens. We normally have various incubators running but not this make/model. I thought that since it had got such good reviews that we would give it a shot. Loaded it up - followed instructions - watched it daily - everything "seemed" to be working - not sure what happened but not a single egg hatched. In the other incubators about 85% of the eggs during the same time hatched ... may have been pure bad luck but can't risk that again especially since losing 20 possible "chicks" and wasting 20 something days is not what I can risk often ... ... show more
