This Rux bag is an awesome, high quality waterproof tote that has become our regular beach and boat bag. Big enough to store item you want to keep dry while on the lake or at the beach. The biggest draw back is the price, but the high quality construction (thick 420D TPU-coated nylon), sealed seams, and heavy duty handles make it worth it. We also have the Rux 70L gear box, and this tote bag fits within the box as part of the modular storage making it extra useful for separating gear when camping. We are definitely happy with this bag.

Sturdy stylish waterproof tote bag with handles and shoulder strap. This could be used in a canoe or kayak or for general camping trips. There are slits around the sides so you can lash it securely to a boat or vehicle. The capacity seems to be about 8 or so gallons (not sure exactly). The materials feel reasonably robust, although the padding for the shoulder strap is minimal. You wouldn't want to carry the bag a long way if it's full of heavier materials like water bottles, it bites into your shoulder after a while. It took me a while to figure out the black roll top. It's almost as much material as the lower cargo-carrying part of the bag (adds weight without adding much storage space except maybe an inch or so above the top of the bag). You have to pull the black parts all the way up as far as they will go, match the seams and then roll tightly if you want a good seal. There is a buckle to secure it across the short distance and another for the longer distance from end to end, which tugs in a somewhat awkward way but seems to work. It's not as convenient as a zipper but probably seals better. I don't know if this is fully waterproof. It's definitely splashproof and probably rainproof if you roll it correctly but if it got dunked I'm skeptical about whether it would keep the water from leaking slowly through the top. Maybe. If I can make time to do a test-submerge, I'll update the listing. The price-point is higher than a regular tote bag but that's partly because of the waterproof materials, the construction, and the specialized cuts to provide lash-points. It's up to the buyer to decide whether the extra is worth it.

I got this waterproof bag, because we do a lot of camping, fishing, and kayaking in the warmer months. At least a quarter of the time a storm blows up, and we need a serious waterproof solution for medication, electronics, and back up clothing. This tote bag checks all the boxes. It is ruggedly built and has held up to some serious abuse from my kids without losing its waterproof power. The hand and shoulder straps are durable and give added convenience. The bag is very easy to use by pulling out the black fabric portion from the inside, filling up, rolling the top down and securing with the clips. Boom. Waterproof. I especially like how they've integrated lashing points into the build making it look like a cool design with secret functionality. I love the white, and so far have had no issues with being able to keep it looking pretty crisp as the fabric is easy to clean with a good wipe down. This bag is definitely higher priced than I would ordinarily consider, but the rugged build and good looks make it worth the price tag.

This bag is bullet proof! It has become the every day carry for my entire family and many of my friends. While it may seem expensive at first glance, the quality speaks for itself. This aint your Trader Joes tote, this is a go anywhere, do anything daily driver.

The media could not be loaded. I have traveled through several airports with this beautiful bag and always get compliments. It's durable and stylish. It's roomy enough for my work items, laptop, and lunch with a giant water bottle. I do wish there were a way to fully close it. Other than that tiny thing, it's divine.
