I had a slight problem with assembly: a bolt on the pedal was hard to get off, but I managed. I reported this to the after-sale email address given in the instruction manual and received a quick response. At first the pedal exerciser was smooth and quiet, but appeared to report distance only in meters. I again got a quick response from the company: they sent another computer that uses miles. So, initially, I was really pleased with both the product and the customer service. Initial rating: 4 or 5. But after less than 4 weeks, the problems started: 1) A grinding noise appeared internal to the pedal exerciser. 2) With the resistance knob set to the easiest setting, the exerciser started auto-shifting to a much harder level. This was a problem for me because I was recovering from knee surgery and the harder level was too hard. I sought help from the company. I asked if there was something I could do: maybe adjust or grease something. I got no response at all. I later resent my email in case something my earlier one had fallen through the cracks. Again, no response. So, I provided feedback to the seller, asking if a return or replacement could be done. No response. While I was beyond the return date, I nevertheless thought some resolution was needed - especially since the instruction manual said a free lifetime warranty was available. So, bottom line: the product has durability issues, and when it does, customer service from both the manufacturer and the seller is non-existent. Final overall rating: 1. Update for customer service. Two weeks after reporting the problem described above, I got no response from either the manufacturer or the seller. However, only a week after writing the negative Amazon review, I was offered either a new exerciser or a refund. I opted for a new exerciser and one was sent. Quote from the seller: "The only thing that we ask, on behalf of our customer support effort, is that you consider updating your review to 5 stars or removing it completely." Since it seems to me that I got a new exerciser only because I wrote a negative review, giving the exerciser 5 stars or deleting my review, would not reflect my experience. I have updated to 3 stars and will reevaluate in 6 months to see if the new exerciser is more durable than the first one. Update #2: The replacement unit proved much better than the original one. I've been using it for 4 months now and have had no issues. It performs just as I expected it to, so I updated my rating to 4 stars. If the original unit had been like the replacement, I would have rated it 5 starts. Unfortunately, I can't rate it that high now, since the problem with the original one suggests a quality control problem. I've had this product for a few days and do like the design in general. It was slightly difficult to assemble (instructions did not help much) but I did get it together in less than 30 minutes. Some things (pedals) screw in the opposite direction from what you would think. The main problem is that the device will slide on any type of smooth surface (include the 4 rug blocks included in the package). I have only been able to make use of the equipment when placed on a rug (no sliding in that case). I use it to keep moving during the day and it is helpful. ... show more

It is great for what I need it for. I just use it as an arm machine for a little cardio. I used a more commercial grade version at a clinic so I wanted to get a home version, and this does well. I have not used it for legs yet. It is just a bit flimsy on the display and a spot on the frame that separated a bit, but it seems to hold up fine. There were no instructions on how to use and read the display, but I think it will be easy to infer once I decide to dedicate time to look at the options. VANGONA Exerciser is not the only device in that category, but in my opinion, it’s THE BEST! You may ask why? I love the excellent magnetic 10-level resistant mechanism. Levels 1 to 4 can be used for most seniors and for rehabilitation purposes, levels 5 to 7 for more advanced endurance training, and levels 8 to 10 are excellent for resistance training. Such a wide range of resistance can be only found in professional gyms with multi-thousand-priced cycling machines. It takes just 5 minutes to assemble the machine, which is very stable and ergonomic. The LCD monitor is easily replicable if necessary and shows all the major characteristics of the workout. But the best of all is customer support. Over years I bought on Amazon probably hundreds of different products. But customer support via vangona@outlook.com is truly superior. Every inquiry will be satisfied within 24 hours! If you need a portable pedal exerciser – the VANGONA brand must be your choice, there is nothing better in that category. ... show more

Overall, it's sturdy and reasonably easy to move. The person I got it for will use it for physical therapy, and they liked it as well. If someone could send me a replacement screen, I'll update this review.

I bought this thing so that I can use it in my gym with a bench. Pros: Easy to put together. Pedals smoothly once adjusted. Cons: had to find a special wrench as one of the pedals was making noise and unscrewing itself from the device. Once that was fixed, it was fine. The feet supports made of rubber have a tendency to disassemble from the device as you pedal. Somewhat difficult to understand all the data on the reading panel. ... show more

Straightforward assembly took only a few minutes and the exerciser was ready to use. I use it on a carpet and it doesn't move at all. I have been using this exerciser on both arms and legs for about three weeks and have recently noticed that it has developed a clicking noise that comes and goes. The noise is not too loud and does not affect the machine working smoothly at this time but I have some concerns that it may become an issue in the future. I like this exerciser but only using it longer will tell me if it is a quality product. ... show more
