When I first bought this keyboard I didn’t know what to expect because there were no reviews, however after receiving it, I can safely say I’m glad I bought it. The quality seems very good for the price and I am impressed by the amount of functions this keyboard has considering it is less expensive than the Alesis and Williams Legato yet can do more. I originally bought this keyboard as a more quiet alternative so I wouldn’t be a disturbance to my family when practicing piano, therefore sound quality wasn’t a huge concern of mine. However if sound quality is very important to you, I’ll be honest it’s not great but if you plug it into a speaker it’s not that bad. Another complaint I have is that the keys are a bit stiff and they bounce right back up when you play, and it just doesn’t feel as smooth comparing to my piano. Some may feel that this is uncomfortable. Overall, if your looking for a keyboard to mess around on this is REALLY good for the price. Despite some of its flaws I would still recommend it.     • Stopped turning on after 6 months

I received the piano in December and by June the on off switch stopped working. I reached out to the company to see if I could fix it somehow and they requested for me to send a video of the problem. The company apologized and offered to send me a replacement keyboard. This was not my idea. It was their offer. They asked if I was satisfied with the solution. I said I was very satisfied but they never sent the replacement and will not respond to my emails. It quite an expense to only enjoy for 6 months. I loved that this is a white keyboard and has great sound. Disappointed that it stopped working and the promised replacement didn’t come. ... show more

    • Good looking keyboard with Bad Sound

I had high hopes for this keyboard (VGD881). The look and feel of it are that of quality. It is nice that it has all 88 keys. I purchased the VGD881. They sent me the manual for the VGD611. I tried to look up the user manual - in English - on their website. This is what it says to do in the user manual (wrong one) that came with it. There is not an option to download a manual in English for this model. It is a very limited website. I contacted Amazon and they tried to help me with it, but had no luck either. The sound is bad. I tried using good quality ear phones and a speaker. There was no improvement. It says in the description that it is blue tooth enabled. I could not find how this was possible. I tried contacting the seller to ask how to hook up a blue tooth speaker and never heard back from them. At this point I will be returning the keyboard. I went to to a second hand shop and purchased an older, Yamaha YPT230, keyboard and the sound is better on it. It is much smaller keyboard, but I am not an advanced player. I am only using it to practice. I am willing to sacrifice keys to have a better sound, but not willing to sacrifice sound to have more octaves. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I haven't purchased a keyboard in probably 20 years and I can't believe how lightweight and compact they have become. This 88 key keyboard truly sounds great and runs off a battery so you could set up without any cords. I got this for my daughter for something to learn on so I view it as a great beginner keyboard and easy for her to bring to class. Some helpful tools built in like recording, metrodome , all different tones and tempo etc.. Also included a single pedal which is great. Got this for my daughter to use with GarageBand It works pretty flawlessly. It's light and portable and it comes with a gig bag that provides very little protection. The built-in sounds are useless.

We love the full size of this keyboard and feel. When plugged into an amplifier, it sounds good… not a Yamaha or anything, but not even 1/3 of that price either. Great entry level keyboard with great features.

Ordered this for a birthday present so didn’t open it upon arrival. Had a few malfunctioning keys when it was opened but the return date was past. I notified them and they sent me a new one immediately. New one works great!
