I bought this item July 14,2022 for my 2002 Ram 1500 4.7L and it's already time to replace it. I just wished I had gotten the 3 year warranty, but such is life. I gave 5 stars because the product did the job, plus it fit perfectly and was easy to install. And those who said it's expensive, try ordering from Auto Zone..etc..etc and you will see expensive. First compressor ordered leaked as I sent bk another was on the way in less than a week second compressor came w no problems ru iing quiet and cold

    • Ports too small for my old and new hoses
Bought this compressor back in March so can't return it now. Problem I have is the compressor ports are too small by 1/16 inch so my old hoses and the new one will not fit. Also the holes are not tapered so no way can you get the hole fittings into the holes. Out $150 and have to hope the next one fits from wherever I get it. Didn't install it right away because the weather was not hot enough to worry about it until now. and this seller has good reviews. Stuff happens so I will carry on. I will buy the extra insurance from now on. ... show more
