I use this every day, sometimes twice a day, to brew my Crio Bru cacao. The infuser basket is generously sized, and also works in my Yeti commuter mug. It is beautiful to look at and feels nice in my hands. I love it so much, I take it with my when I travel! Sometimes I end up with a small pooling of liquid under the bass m mug, and sometimes I don't, so put a towel under it if you're concerned. It washes well, both by hand and in the dishwasher. I haven't had any staining on the white inside of the mug, and it's easy to wipe clean. The infuser basket has to be scrubbed a little, and it's starting to stain a bit, but no big deal. This looked better in the picture online to me compared to the item I received first hand, but it is an attractive, colorful, sturdy mug. It’s good for coffee and any kind of beverage, but was made for tea—loose tea, specifically. It has a good-sized stainless steel basket with a stubby handle attached for lifting it out of the mug. It’s not a mesh basket that can dent easily, either. It’s solid steel with perforations around it for the brewing tea leaves to steep through. I haven’t yet tried it for tea. The colorful patterned ceramic cover goes over the mug and tea insert to help it steep or keep other hot beverages warm. The lid is compact and may slide around a little when the mug is lifted, but with care, should remain in place on the mug with no incident. I was expecting the mandala design to be brighter and was initially dismayed, but I got used to admiring it, and it does lend a spirited pop of color amidst the surrounding greige office palette. This company is also one of the best to do business with and I will be a repeat customer. ... show more

It's not kept in stock be prepared to wait for it. I ordered it 4months before it was sent. They only bill you once its sent, Its beautifully made, the cup is tall so the full sized strainer sits deep enough that if you only want to fill it partially with hot water the basket will reach the water level you choose. The lid fits nicely over the top though I would have preferred had they designed it with a handle on top (like a knob handle on a teapot lid) as removing the lid requires that you cup your hand over the dome shaped lid and grasp the rim edge of the lid to lift it off; a rim edge that only barely extends over the rim of the cup beyond the rolled edge needed to seat the lit onto the cup. You also have to be mindful that you dont pull up the edge of the strainer basket with it, which is sandwiched between the cup rim and the lid rim. All in all I would recommend buying it. It makes loose leaf tea brewing so much simpler than filling and cleaning a tea ball. Cleans really easy. Like all ceramic wear if you microwave the cup ( ALONE!! No metal basket) the ceramic heats up hotter than glass. ... show more
