I was a bit underwhelmed when I first saw this 4x6 rug folded up in a small package; it was quite light as well. Once opened, it also became obvious how thin it was. But, it is incredibly soft and pleasing to the touch. The creases vanished in a very short period of time. I have several other washable rugs throughout the house from a national company; those were much more expensive but also include a separate backing piece (that cannot be machine washed). This Vamcheer rug, however, is only one piece and has a non-slip backing built in. Also, just like the national brand, the rug is machine washable; unfortunately, what isn't clear in the description is that, unlike the other brand, this one cannot be placed in a tumble dryer. Instead, it has to be placed "in the shade" to dry; that makes care a bit less convenient. ... show more

I put this 4x6 Vamcheer Vintage rug in my office! The design is awesome! It is very soft to walk on! This rug is everything the seller describes on their sales page. One of the things I like about it the most is how my office chair with silicone wheels easily glides across the rug. To move my office chair befor the rug, if the wheels weren't lined up for the direction I wanted to go, I would have to raise up out of the chair and line the wheels up. I wanted to add a rug to my workspace and this rug is perfect! It's low, soft, and the color is light yet pretty. It's more than I would normally spend on a 4x6 rug, but I love that it will fit in the washer and I like that I will now have softness under my feet while creating. I need all washable rugs (senior dogs) but they usually aren’t this soft!! The underside has that floor grip so it downer slide around. It came folded up and was pretty easy to lay out. There is a slight curl at the edges I’ll have to work at but that happens with all rugs. I’ll probably move this to under my desk bc I don’t have a rug in my workspace at home. ... show more
