Although Rufus claims this valve can be used with R134A refrigerant, it wasn't compatible with my car a/c port which uses a quick connect style of Coupler nor the tool came with an adapter for it. However, I can tell that the tool is well built and will serve its purpose fine. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it for what I intended to do, but it's good value to keep for other systems, maybe I can find an adapter that'll fit an R134A Coupler.

I recently turned on the air conditioning in my suburban getting ready for the summer ahead of us here in the Northeast they're extremely hot humid and steamy I noticed that it was absolutely no cold air coming out from the air conditioning unit apparently I had developed a leak over the winter time and hadn't even known you have to testing his system with a vacuum pump I found that it was a leaking Schrader valve actually there were two in my system on my suburban I contacted the local garage and the numbers that they gave me an estimate to recharge the system was enough to make me look for alternatives when I came across this looking for options I was surprised that they even made tools like this if the pressure testing the system and finding the traders that were leaking it's still quickly and efficiently screwed onto the trainer valve body removed the trailer valves and install the new ones in less than 10 minutes it also has the functionality to do this under pressure having a valve slightly below the actual portion of the valve core removal tool that can be shut off with a small ball valve the build quality and the functionality of this small but intricate tool is amazing considering how easy it was to install the new Schrader valve I'm surprised more people don't know about this tool or the fact that they can do it at home without giant repair bills from garages the quality of the valve core removal tool and the build quality seems heavy duty and robust made of brass and stainless the valve is tight and doesn't leak and easy to handle and compared to the cost of having a service was a fantastic value for my money anybody looking to work on either their home HVAC or the automotive HVAC should consider this tool as a go-to for DIY repairs I definitely would recommend this to anybody who is interested in it it appears to be extremely well made and durable

This tool is a real time saver when vacuuming line sets. It takes a long time to vac down a line set with the valve in place. My line set is already in service but I tested this tool by removing the core and replacing it. The core does not fall off the puller like I have read with low cost solutions. It also does not leak. If you are installing or maintaining HVAC equipment, this tool is a must have!

I absolutely love this core removal tool. It is built solid, works extremely well, and feels smooth to use. I like the big green handle on it too because that helps to prevent anyone else from mistaking this as theirs.

Great quality core removal tool - only used it once, to test it out. It is smooth, and sealed up without any issues. The build quality is good. No imperfections in the brass, ball valve is smooth and seals well.

I got to remove the Shrader valve on a central air conditioner condenser. It worked great for that purpose. It made it super easy to pull a vacuum with the Shrader out and I was able to put it back in under pressure. It could be used to replace a bad Shrader valve without removing the charge on a system. Hiding extra vales under the cap was a cool trick as well. Value for the money is really good. This did not leak and held pressure while using it.
