This purchase has been a game changer for me. No more pressure pain on my hips and feet and most importantly, no back pain! Minor off-gassing odor but it went away within a day or 2. The topper is small and flat when you open it so expect it to take awhile to plump up all the way. Someone suggested gently stretching it and that worked well to allow it to expand faster. Just be careful not to pull too hard or it could tear. Once it expanded all the way, it fit my XL twin mattress perfectly (we have 2 xl twins for our king bed). It's so comfortable and I actually look forward to going to bed now! By the second night I was sleeping all the way through without waking up every couple hours. I'll be purchasing another one for my husband soon. He didn't think he needed one until he tried it, lol.

Bought this for our guest bedroom that has a stiff, uncomfortable mattress. Opened the box and plastic wrap. Yes it comes very deformed when you first unwrap it. Says to wait 24-48 hours before use. I waited about 6 hours and went to sleep on it. It wasn't fully "inflated" but almost - just a couple wrinkles left. Game changer. By the next night it was at full size and has been working well ever since. Perfect size for a queen bed - fully covers the whole mattress. It's cool in the bedroom I have it in and this provides some extra warmth. Not sure what that will be like in the summer but it's good for now. The "memory foam" aspect of it seems to be just about right. If you push your hand in it you can see the shape for a little while and then it returns to the original shape, meaning it doesn't get "stuck" with indentations from sleeping on it. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and think the price was just right.

Well I waited a while before I wrote this review just to give it a fair Shake. First of all the thing is a full 3 in shorter than my standard double bed. This I've never seen before in a Topper. The quality of the foam definitely seems high quality, as it's extremely difficult to get out of your bed once you've warmed up the foam and sunken in. ** Now this is seriously crucial - do not buy this bed if you're overweight, and not perfectly evenly proportioned! I am a side sleeper, I'm 5'9 270 lb, and the middle of the foam sinks in and my head and feet are higher than my middle torso. In other words it feels like I'm sleeping on a big soft potato chip, and it's really killing my back. Not sleeping level is worse than my hard bed was. At least there I was flat. Now don't get me wrong, this topper feels pretty dang good overall, I just wish my toes didn't hang off the end of it and I wasn't bent like a potato chip.

I don't leave a lot of reviews but I have to say this has helped greatly with my back issues. We have tried three different mattresses and none of them were any more comfortable than the last. We kept the last mattress even though it was overly firm as It was the best to date but I still woke up each morning with an aching back. We thought we would try this topper to add a little give to the mattress and wow, what a difference. I've been waking up for the last 3 days pain free. I cannot believe it. I know everyone will not have the same experience but I am so glad we decided to try it. It fit's our Cal King very well. We took it out of the package, let it sit on the floor for24 hours (to let it expand) then we placed the topper under the mattress protector and then put the sheet on top of the protector. The one con is that it is hotter than just sleeping on a regular mattress so if you get hot when sleeping be prepared for that.
