I compared lots of alternatives before settling on this particular strap wrench, and I'm very happy with it. Very nicely built. Rubber strap has good grip and good conformity: it worked great for removing the slick handle shrouds on faucets without scratching them, even though they were really stuck. This replaces my previous strap wrench that had rubber coated nylon straps: that one didn't conform as well to conical parts, was more prone to scratching, and eventually dried out and lost its grip. This one is well made and the straps look like they will last longer. Highly recommended.

A little tricky and awkward to use at first but once you understand how it works, it works well. Bought it to attach a new shower head and didn't want to use a monkey wrench as the connector was plastic and I didn't want to risk cracking it. This thing worked great.
