This rug is not machine washable as advertised—only the very small size might be. I purchased the 9x12 rug, and it doesn't fit in my washer, which has the largest capacity available (5 cu ft). The laundromats in my area also have only 5 cu ft washers. How inconvenient. The listing should clearly state "commercial washer only" instead of showing a misleading image of a woman using a home washer. In the fine print, it "recommends" using a commercial washer, but this isn't just a recommendation—it's the only option. Aside from this, the rug is soft, beautiful, and adheres to the floor as expected. Just don't expect to wash it at home. ... show more

I ordered this rug on a whim right before a holiday gathering at my house -- I wanted to replace an existing rug in our family room that our dog had essentially trashed (it was an expensive rug too!) This one looked good (same color as our always shedding dog!) and the price was right. Two months later, I have to say that I am super pleased with this rug. It looks nice, is soft underfoot, and it really doesn't show any dirt or dog hair! It's really terrific. I have been eyeing name brand washable rugs for awhile now but the price is so outrageous. This rug is amazing and not needing a bottom layer is a total plus! It’s soft and perfect for our playroom. It was easy to put down and flattened nicely. The edges curl a little, however, my kids also give that edge a ton of foot traffic. I tried to wash it once in my machines at home and where it did work, I will definitely be taking it to a laundromat next time because it required a lot of cycles. ... show more

It’s been here for quite a few days and it’s still wrinkled. It’s really thin too. I like the color, it’s very close to the picture. If it doesn’t flatten out soon I will be returning it.
