This is a review of the "ivory" colored rug, which arrived as an off white color. The rug gives us mixed feelings. First, it is big, non-slip, and 'plush' with short fibers. The 'plush' feel is because the short hairs are quite dense, even though they are not particularly long, leaving the rug more thin/medium than thick. The dense fibers seem to keep dirt from getting down between the fibers, but also seem to attract dirt from shoes. And vacuuming is complicated by having to reduce suction or else the rug tends to be sucked up (probably because it isn't particularly thick/heavy and the dense pile means less airflow). Nonetheless, we do not fault the rug for being what it is. The exception is that the product description page and pictures do not completely show how lightly colored ("worn looking") the pattern is on the light colored background. This might be the softest rug I've ever pet. (odd sentence). I got this in grey. It looks just like the photos and is true to size. It's beautiful and honestly, super soft. I've been petting it every single time I walk past it just because it feel nice. It came folded up. It was easy to get the creases out after unfolding it and leaving it be for a day or two. It looks great in my space. And it really ties the room together. I really love this rug and I'm very happy with it. I haven't had to clean it yet, but it should fit in my washer no problem. It's no so thin that you feel like you're walking on hardwood, but it's thin enough that it'll fold up to fit in the washer easily. This is a nice 5x7 rug. It's not super thick or high ply, but for a thin rug it's pretty good quality. I actually like that it's not super thick because it feels like you could easily put it in the washer to wash it. The fact that it's fairly thin will also take longer to show wear, I think. When rugs are fluffy, they get matted quickly. I really liked the way they shipped it. It was folded instead of rolled up. This seems to have made it lay flat easily. When rugs are rolled up sometimes the ends curl and it's hard to get them to lay flat. This one laid flat very soon after opening it and the creases from it being folded didn't take long to disappear either. I'm really happy with it and feel like it's a good value for what you get. ... show more

I like the pattern and color on this rug and it does have a non-slip surface underneath. However, it arrives folded and the creases may take quite a bit of time to go away (assuming they do at all). The listing touts this as machine washable, but the carpets bulk would require a very large washing machine which I don't own. The carpet is really thin and requires a separate pad to make it feel more comfortable to walk on. There may be better values based on the price. ... show more
