I normally use Damprid but what drew me to this product is the size is about half. Although it less time, it makes it easier to use in smaller spaces that you don't need a large Damprid. It works amazingly well and I've reordered it several times. It takes time for the moisture absorbed in the beads and then it starts to release the moisture into the secondary portion of the bag. I put a date on each bag that I have hanging to know approximately how much it's lasting in each room or closet. I've used moisture absorbers for many years and even if you don't live in a humid climate, it really helps to keep your clothes fresh and absorb moisture. It also helps protect them. I use them also in the garage. I would recommend them because of how well they work and that the price for the quantity is good.

I was rather shocked at the size of these hangers. They looked like the size of DampRid hangers from the photo showing one of them hanging on a clothing rack. POSITIVE REMARKS: Though small, they actually work. Their moisture beads are NOT clumping together unlike their competitor – DampRid tend to do. In one of my photos, I placed the hanger in my laundry room the day I received them. One week later, the bag is half full of water already. Like others have mentioned, these will likely last about two weeks before having to change them out. NEGATIVE REMARKS: The hanger is too small to hang from my closet’s wood garment rods. The hanger is thinner and feels more fragile than those that DampRid uses. OVERALL: The price of them seemed much more reasonable than what DampRid was charging, which was the main reason I purchased them. But now, realizing that I would need two of the VacPlus bags per closet per month vs. 1 DampRid hanger per closet per month, their prices are almost the same to me. BOTTOM LINE: I will buy the VacPlus hangers again if I cannot find a bargain on the DampRid hangers first.

I have been purchasing these bags for a long time and they work really well. We put them in closets, laundry room, even under cabinets to help remove moisture and humidity from the air. Weather fragrance free or scented, they all work great.

The bags do a very good job reducing the humidity in our closets. They are quite effective and depending on the conditions lasts a few weeks.

These are amazing little helpers that hang in your closets and soak up water you didn't even know you had in the air of your house. We use them in three closets and under the sink. They fill up about half way every 4 to 6 weeks and we swap them out for new ones. We do not have a musty smell in our condo and I am not sure where the moisture is coming from that is filling these bags but they work. The only reason I gave 4 stars is I am not sure if the bag can hold a full capacity amount of water as I do not want to take the chance of one bursting. So, that's more on me perhaps than the actual bags.

These work really well -- and their smaller size makes it easy to use them in smaller places.

These aren't going to dehumidify your space, but they absolutely helped me keep things from getting musty. I'm in the pacific NW area, some humidity (It gets worse in other states, I know!), so my apartment sometimes develops issues in spaces with that must that builds up when the moisture gets too high. I can smell it in closets, under the bed, or in the corners of carpeted rooms. I picked these up because the little box ones sold at the Dollar Tree became scarce, and these ave been absolutely helpful. I keep an organized and clean home, so that's not an issue, and I also have a powered dehumidifier (and an AC unit with a dehumidify setting). These still helped in small or closed spaces, like closets and my bed frame (keeping must away from both) the the air smells clear. These last as long as they are not full, so the one near my bed filled faster than the one in my pantry closet, but the one in my bathroom filled more quickly. My advice, check them every couple of weeks. They didn't leak, and even did well resting upright in my kitchen cupboard, using a nail to help keep the hook higher than the rest of the bag. Cleanup is a snap, just take it down and replace. I cut the bag near the seam and dumped accumulated moisture into the toilet. They're pricey, but they're very helpful. Definitely recommend them if you have issues with musty areas due to humidity. These aren't a dehumidifier, but they will definitely help.

These work great! We live in an extremely humid area, and the (mechanical dehumidifiers) can’t reach closed off areas. So we use these to fill the gaps and they are so easy to deal with. Just hang and you’re done.
