Bought this for my son for Christmas. He set it up following the simple directions and we began bagging leftover spiral ham. Simple easy and actually fun - best vacuum pack I have ever used. You can buy a roll of bags and cut and make the bag the size you want. Easy to use. I may have to get one for my home. Making ice bags for ice chests so simple! Fill with water and place in the chamber. Awesome.

It's very funny that my last review never posted??? I was sent a broken product. It was very obvious that it had been previously opened. The inner product box had been re-taped. The instruction manual was between the product box and shipping box, therefore outside of the packaging. Upon removal of the product, the front glass plate was broken off.

I was looking at these machines and they were so expensive I kept putting it off but when this model came out it was in my price range so I bit the bullet and got it. I thought that since it was not as expensive as the others I might not like it but I have to tell you, this machine is great. It is extremely straight forward to operate, quiet, fast, and looks good on the counter. I was especially happy to see the hose attachment which wasn't available in the other models. I saw that it had gone on sale a week after I purchased it but when I called the manufacturer to see what could be done they were even better than I could have hoped. Very professional and prompt. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about this to buy it. The ONLY issue I have so far is you need to replace the motor oil regularly(which was expected) but ordering from the manufacturer is expensive and hard to find from other sources.

Absolutely thrilled with this sealer and its easy to use funtionality. Out of the box I was sealing chick roasts and chicken stock perfectly within minutes. I would give the product 5 stars but upon unpacking the glass control faceplate cover had become detached during shipping. Although customer service promply got me in touch with a technician the company did not seem eager to solve the problem and suggested I fix on my own with superglue. It would have been nice if they at least offered to ship me some glue. Also it would be great if the product came with a few bags as samples to help you understand which sizes you wanted to order in quantity.

This thing is wonderful. The User Guide could be a bit more clear about the controls, but overall, this (to me) is well worth the money. It is HEAVY, so expect to park it somewhere where you can always get to it, when needed.

Had the product for 8 months now. Had to replace the circuit board twice, and had to send the unit back for service. Got it back, sealed 6 bags and now it won't even turn on. This is not a well built product. When I got the replacement unit, it lasted for 6 bags....
