The 4 HP motor on this vacuum creates a lot of suction. Much stronger than anything I have ever purchased in it's price range, by far. There is only minor complain and someone has mentioned it, so it's not just me being picky. The problem is that the hose is too stiff. It makes it cumbersome to use at times. Had to request a replacement because the first one I received was missing parts, but once I got the replacement, everything was fine. Easy to assemble--you will need a screwdriver. I like that the canister is metal and easy to clean out. I needed it to pick up tiny shards of glass in my driveway due to a broken windshield and the suction is very good and strong and it worked very well for my needs. The price is also very reasonable. It has a good sized canister, it rolls easily and the suction is good. Also, the cord is nice and long. I was able to plug it in the outlet in my garage and get it all the way to the end of my driveway without an extension cord. That is very helpful. I was using it outdoors and it didn't seem super noisy to me, but I think the noise level is about the same as my household vacuum cleaner. ... show more

I recently purchased this to have for use at our house not knowing the first use would be to suck up water in a flooded basement. It worked like a charm! Super good suction and nice capacity to hold quite a bit of water. We had about 1 inch of water when our sump pump went out and flooded across our entire finished and non-finished basement. Yes, it took some time get all the water sucked up after moving things up off the floor, but had we not had it, the water would have ruined all the sheet rock, baseboards, cabinets, and much of the items we had sitting on the floor.
