Notes: Do not use this portable air pump for car tires for large cars like trucks, vans or off-road vehicles (tire pressure > 50psi, tire width > 245mm). It is not recommended to use both wires of the mini air compressor at the same time. If inflating with car power supply, please start the car engine when you use the car air compressor, and keep the engine on before your inflating work is done. Great product. Just one thing to note: On my car, it is a little difficult to attach the fitting on the air hose to the value on my tire. It WILL work, but because of the way my hub caps are designed, it is tight. (The hub caps do not detach -- you must remove the 5 lug bolts.) So, the fix for this is easy: a valve stem extender. You can buy them anywhere, even at Amazon. A valve stem extender simply screws on to your valve, and it is, maybe, 1.5" long (length varies depending on the manufacturer). You only need one extender: remove your valve cap, screw on the valve stem extender, air up your tire, remove the extender, replace the cap. (However, extenders are usually sold as a 2-pack or as a 4-pack, and they are not expensive, so you'll have back-ups if needed.) The tire inflator is a great product -- exactly what I needed. I tested it plugged into my car (at the 9V "cigarette lighter") and plugged into a regular electrical outlet in the garage. ... show more

My VacLife was delivered a couple days ago. I hadn't taken it out of the box. My windows were open, I heard a trunk close. I looked out and neighbor was parked on the street. She had a tire iron in her hand. She had just changed a tire that had been damaged and her compact spare was flat. I told her to stay there, I had just the thing. I walked out and said let's blow your spare up. We opened the box. It was just so easy. She figured it out as quickly as I did. In a few minutes her spare had 40 psi and looked okay. She left for the Mini dealership to get her tire repaired or replaced--after asking where I got the inflator, how much and saying that she was going to get one. This arrived with a broken (partly missing) seal at the closure of the box. The seal said that "this item could not be sold with a broken seal." Someone was inside the box for some reason. I almost just returned the tire pump but upon very close inspection it looked new. It works like new. I am going to keep this item hoping that it was not a return. + The LCD display is well lit and can be read easily. + The selected pressure is very accurate - tested it in comparison with a manual pressure gauge which showed the same pressure in psi unit. + Allows wide pressure range to fill different kind of devices + Allows connection to 110V power outage (short cable, see comment below). + Cord to be plugged into cigarette lighter from car (never used it so far but is provided). - Biggest con is a quite short cable connection between pump and 110V outlet. But this disadvantage seems common with other similar pump devices, too. Inside a garage, definitely an extension cord is needed. - Also quite short cable for connection between pump and valve. This is less critical since the pump can sit closer to the device with valve if an extension cord connects between pump and outlet. - The yellow control buttons cannot be identified easily with their functions since the engravings on the buttons are not engraved with a different color. This is especially difficult in dim light condition. - The pump is light weight which makes it move a bit on the floor during the pumping process. - The pump is noisy but expected from such device. - Limited set of adapters for different valve types. An adapter for French bicycle valves (Presta valve) is not included. ... show more

I buy a ton on Amazon, but I don't think I've ever written a product review before. But I had to on this one. I bought this tire inflator and received it within 1-2 days. As previous owners mentioned, it just came its product box - no external box. I used it the same day I received it. I easily set the various PSIs and automatically filled tires for the following in less than 30 minutes: A truck, an SUV, a boat trailer, a golf cart, and 2 bicycles. 20 tires. It worked perfectly and saved me a ton of time and energy. I used A/C wall power with an extension cord, so haven't used the vehicle power cord, but I have the unit in my truck now in case I ever need it for myself or to help someone. There are only 4 buttons on the unit, so very easy to use. An "R" button to change the measurements (just click until PSI), a plus button, a minus button, and an on/off button. You hook up the tire, it shows you the current PSI (which is accurate), you adjust the PSI to what you want and hit the On button. It does the rest, stopping automatically when reached. While doing the tires, I was able to grab a drink from the fridge and not worry about it stopping. It worked for every tire, within .5 pounds of the requested PSI. Same noise level as a compressor for a nail-gun, etc. Saved me using hand/foot pumps or driving to a convenience store. Didn't realize how low my boat and bike tires were until I hooked it up. Wife and I rode our bikes afterwards and couldn't believe the difference when properly inflated. I've been wanting one of these for a while and so glad I finally bought it! ... show more

I like the fact that this comes with an auto plug and a wall plug. You can set the psi and it automatically cuts off when it gets to that point. Nice that it comes with different adapters. Bonus feature, flash light. Very easy to use.
