This was truly a great purchase, the games this little thing stores is amazing. I think I seen all the Nintendo console games on there at least the ones that were popular at the time these came out! Truly brings back a lot of memories. For the price you really can’t beat it, I just wish I remembered the mortal kombat fatality moves because I seen so many different versions of mortal kombat and street fighters, some versions that were not here in the US that were pretty cool. If you were a teenager in the 80’s like me, this will bring back memories you thought you have forgotten!! This comes with everything you need including a screen protector!

Overall for the money its a great product. My complaints wouldn't keep me from buying another one in the future and its not really quality related. I bought this for my 9 yr old and 7 yr old. My 9 yr old is a much stronger reader but it still becomes frustrating for him trying to read thousands of games to find one he likes. They are categorized by console, but since he is 9 he hasn't heard of any of them except 3 lol. So considering that, it helps none in regard to narrowing down game selections. My daughter essentially needs my help every time she plays it. She likes it once she's on it, but it is kind of counter productive if she cant play by herself. We usually use these in the car and every 3 mins I have to help her do something. This would be great for 12 year old and up or maybe even 10 plus. I think my son will adjust well. As far as game quality, for the price yo won't beat it. The screen is great. Volume gets pretty loud and there is only lag every now and again. Usually with more complex games. But hardly noticeable. Buttons feel sturdy and not loose. Hope this helps

As previous reviewers have noted, had issues with left analog joystick. Random movements, getting stuck on the X axis. Taking it apart I found the plastic that secures and moves the x-axis contact piece was either missing or broken. No trace of pieces so it looks as if it wasn't formed right causing the left and right to just not work as the contact was unable to move with the joystick. Just beware if you purchase this you may have this same issue as the analog sticks have some major quality issues. These have been replaced with ROG ALLY analog sticks that have close enough to identical dimensions and mounting points. Aside from this the unit works well for what it is designed to do. The abxy buttons seem to be around the same size as the Nintendo Switch Joycon buttons. Small but usable. It never felt uncomfortable to hold and use. It doesn't really weigh enough to cause discomfort and the scooped back side for the L&R buttons allows for a natural grip with little effort. Fully loaded with all the classics and a good time killer for work breaks or just relaxing. Screen is crisp and bright. User interface is all over the place but if you have ever used retroarch or retropi it's the norm and there are plenty of tutorials for the open source operating system it is running. Would I recommend it? Only if you're versed in the retroarch/retropi ecosystem and have a little know how when it comes to taking things apart and replacing analog sticks. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a good unit, maybe you won't.

Bought a purple one and it was good. Some games didn’t work and the N64 and PS1 games are all almost unplayable. However, the rest of the systems run well for most games. So I decided to buy another one for my son. This is where the major problem happened. We ordered a white one and as soon as I opened it up, we noticed that the analog stick would sometimes register down as up. About half of the time. So I thought it was a fluke and had it replaced. When the replacement arrived it had the SAME exact bug where the analog stick didn’t work. This is definitely frustrating as now I have 2 broken systems and chore to return them. I’d love to buy another working one, but so far I’m 1 for 3 on working devices. Just to be clear, we tried doing system resets on both of them. Didn’t fix it.
