Low battery alert right after installation
It arrived really quickly. The quality looked promising. I liked the cord length because my closest outlet was a little further away from where I wanted my doorbell. I installed it as soon as I got it, it was pretty easy, and not even an hour after installation, I got a notification saying the batteries were low and that I needed to replace them, so major thumbs down on that. Super disappointed in the fact that it didn't function as promised. So 1 star for that. Edit update: After a week of installation, the lower battery notification went away and it's been working really well without issues. It's now Oct 22, so exactly 3 months later since my first review so i'm bumping the stars up from 1. So I guess just give it some time to see if the low-battery notification will go away, before you consider returning it etc. I'm glad I was not in any mood to uninstall it right away after seeing the low-battery notification for a whole week, otherwise I wouldn't have known that it was going to kick in eventually.

Great fix
We were changing the batteries in our Blink doorbell every few days. I found this and it is great. Doorbell camera is on all of the time. No more battery changes. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend.

So far so good
I have only been using this for a few days and so far it's working well. I like the fact that I won't have to change the batteries every month due to high usage and being worried if I'm gone and the batteries die. It was easy to set up.

Verify your blink model first.
Verify which blink generation you have. It does not work in a Gen 2 (Model BDM00200U). Which is my mistake not theirs; they clearly said Gen 4. Don't make my mistake. As for quality and such; it would probably work great if I had a gen 4. (I don't suggest this for the elecricity challenged), I cut mine to length and hard wired it into my house. Since my front porch lights circuit is directly behind the doorbell, all I needed to do was drill a 14" hole thru the wall and run the wire thru. (before anyone says "it does not work because you cut it", I assure you that is not the case. My voltage meter registered it was getting the exact amount of power needed when tested at the battery terminal)

No more expensive Lithium batteries to buy
This power supply works well for running the Blink doorbell and I no longer have to buy expensive batteries. My biggest pro for this is that other than during power outages, I no longer experience the sudden loss of the doorbell and camera when it's needed the most. My installation is one with the doorbell attached to the door rather than the wall beside the door frame. I have placed aluminum tape (for metal ducts) over the flat cable as it goes round the backside of the door, between the hinges, for protection against pinching the wires. There is a large loop of cable (about 1.5" diameter) between the door and the frame to allow the door to open without overly stressing the cable.

The only good thing you can invest after being stuck on the Blink-Energizer Battery madness
I HATE BLINK ECOSYSTEM but Amazon algorithm made me buy it. It kept me giving me super sales, after buying my first Echo. It almost gave me the first doorbell for free… so I fell on it and bought fixed cameras, Pan and tilt ones… but the biggest scam is the doorbell. It’s slow, buggy and requires lithium AA batteries, after wasting 35$ of batteries in less than year, also damaging the mount of the doorbell for this constant battery change I ended up wiring and soldering a 3,7V DC power source and cable to the doorbell. . . Couple months later the doorbell died. . . But since already was stuck on the Blink Ecosystem bought a new doorbell and ordered right away this cable. . . This power adapter and cable is the only good investment made on this Blink junk. If you are stuck as I am. Buy cables and power adapter for all the cameras, the disposable energizer lithium batteries is a completely stupid approach for this company. They should use 16850 rechargeable ones. . .

FRIED MY CAMERA!
Please DO NOT BUY! This does NOT work!! This thing completely fried my camera. I removed my camera from where i have it placed so i can test this out and it worked for no more than 15 seconds than my camera got extremely hot along with the makeshift battery that comes with this product. Than it just turned off and it won’t turned on any more. This product completely fried my camera. It was working perfectly fine before this. The length of the wire was also way too long. If I can do no stars I would.
