The 3M connectors are 25 cents per, these are about a nickel. For single use firework scabbing these are fine. You might want the 3M product for more demanding applications. I had another cheap Chinese version of these that didn’t work well at all, but these cheapies do the trick for fireworks wiring. ... show more

Connecting low voltage security wire to and from PTZ’s (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras and the low voltage wire from the camera going to the controlling joy stick keyboard at the homes security area. They need to be connected to the RG wire as well. The gel inside of these quality connectors keeps rust from appearing on the wire and contaminating them. Tiny but mighty. These seem to be just as good of a quality as 3m less than half of the price. If they start to deteriorate in a short amount of time I will update this review but for now I'm very happy with them. I use them daily for work with low voltage connections, most of witch are outside.
