I bought this umbrella primarily to use at baseball games when I watch my son play. This is very useful as a sun umbrella/parasol, since there is absolutely no shade on the bleachers. This umbrella is very easy to use, since all you have to do is press the button to either open or close it. It also compresses down, so it is very compact and can even fit inside my tote bag. It is 46 inches, so it definitely is not a small umbrella because I can use it to protect both me and my husband when it is raining or it is too sunny outside. This umbrella is also very strong since it is reinforced with fiberglass. It can withstand heavy winds as well. As far as UV protection, it is 50+, which is amazing. It is also very lightweight, weighing just over one pound. Great multi-use umbrella!

The tab that is used each time you open or close the umbrella wasn't sewed on completely and on an angle with loose thread ready to be snagged. Only a matter of time before completely useless. Quality Control?? Also, the umbrella, although sturdy, is heavier than most and definitely too heavy to carry in my purse with other items. Disappointed because I was really anxious to have a UV protected umbrella. Won't just exchange because of the weight and disappointing experience.

I love the pink color. But I wish the inside didnt have to be black coz it really is very hot especially I'm in AZ. But the worse part is that on my very first use of my umbrella, the bracket broke the moment I opened it. I had to use super glue to be able to use it. I'm able to fix it but then the shape of the umbrella is not the same anymore. Hence, I gave only 1 star. So I'm looking for another one.

Just received (a long wait) but not raining here so haven’t tested yet. A little & therefore sturdy I think. Nice color. Fairly easy opening - a little stiff closing but expect will loosen up w/use. Like idea of UV protection. Like green outside & black interior. Need a rainstorm to test - weather coming in next week!

I am really impressed and happy with this umbrella. Completely blocks all sun penetration - not even a hint of sunlight comes through. Out of curiosity, I compared the sun blockage to other umbrellas I had around the house (both black in color by the way) and there is no comparison to how much better this Baodini umbrella is for sun blocking. Moreover, it is well built with a quality feel to it, and it is perfectly sized - not too big or small. I'm certain it will work perfectly for it's more conventional application of rain protection, of course. Well done on product design. I just purchased a second one today.

Just in time this umbrella protection sun and rain. Considered a travel umbrella windproof 10 ribs compact car umbrella came in handy this week We have had a heck of a week of rain here in Arizona and the kids need an umbrella for school drop-off three days this week. That is very unusual for AZ but worked great at-46 inches automatic open close umbrella portable small worked great and they were able to share it at drop off and pick up. We originally got it for the sun, but it was the perfect umbrella for our kiddos and will be great for the walks with the dog after our monsoon season. Made of 10 ribs for windproof fortified with 10 resin-reinforced fiberglass ribs and upgraded anti-folding design, stronger anti-winds than most as I have seen then just fold up like a tent. Usually, rain comes with wind and that is important.

I mostly like this umbrella. Nice smooth and comfortable handgrip and it opens fully, although on the first try popping the open/close button on the handle the ribs all came up a small amount short, which was alarming. Several retries were successful thereafter (four times of testing). Automatic closing, by pressing the same handle button, results in prompt closing of the canopy and releases the shaft extension mechanism. It is left to the operator to fully collapse the shaft to its resting length. That requires some significant strength. Not all women will find this doable (my wife); others (my adult daughter) won’t have much of a problem. By the way, it looks good and blocks rain and sun, like, you know, an umbrella!

I’m glad I made the purchase. The umbrella blocks the sun really well and opens and closes well. It is automatic open and close so you just have to press the button. I’m not sure what issue some people are having with closing function (maybe not pressing the button?). I’m not sure how durable it will be yet but it feels sturdy. I’ll take care to not be rough with it and hopefully it will last.
