I have been looking for the Utz white cheddar balls for quite a while so I was excited to see this combo. In my experience, Utz makes the best orange and white cheddar cheese puffs. The white cheddar flavor is my favorite, with a strong sharp cheddar flavor. However, I noticed that the balls are a smaller diameter than they used to be, about 3/4 the size of the orange cheese balls from Utz. (This was true for all three flavors.) The smaller size affected the crunchiness and mouth feel more than I would have predicted. They’re still tasty, but the texture and crunch was not quite as satisfying for me. Still worth it, though, for the white cheddar. The cheese pizza flavor is also very tasty, like a spicy version of a pizza roll, like a cheese pizza with herby sauce and some heat. The spiciness is cumulative, so beware if you’re not a fan of hot-spicy. These were my second fave. The Red Hot flavor was just too hot for me. To Utz’ credit, the cheese flavor also comes through with the spiciness, but they are VERY hot. So I would rate these better than the big name brand of spicy cheese crunches I’ve tried that only tasted of the heat with no cheese flavor, but I probably wouldn’t buy them again for myself. For this flavor, the smaller size of the balls was an advantage because it meant less quantity of burn, LOL. All of the containers were intact with seals and all had fresh, crunchy product. For my taste preferences, I don’t think this 3-pack was a great value, but it would be a fun combo for the right people or event. I hope that Utz will bring back the original size and solo bulk containers of white cheddar again. ... show more
